Best I can tell, the Giants were watching him prior to the deadline but came to the realization that his price tag was entirely too high. Yahoo Sports is reporting that the Giants will still make a run at Clements but Roderick Hood seems like a more realistic option at this point. - Other then that, not much has changed last night. The Giants are scheduled to meet with Dominic Rhodes at some points today and I personally think they’ll come to a deal quickly. - The Giants will keep an eye on Ahman Green as an insurance policy. If Rhodes does somehow leave without a deal, I’d expect the Giants to have Green in for a visit in the near future. - The Giants have an eye on Leonard Davis. (John Clayton has finally hinted at this. He said Davis is negotiation with “three NFC East teams.”) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
