Lubeck Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 In the same story on the potential mutiny and Coughlin being in trouble with management there was this comment: He has a coordinator (John Hufnagel) who just calls plays but does not have a feel for the game. He does not set things up with his play-calling. He has no scheme in his play-calling. Tom is supposed to be an offensive coach. Tom has to be the head coach in some of these situations and take over the calls. He is not doing that. This is from a team official.....SO WHY HAVN'T YOU CANNED HIS ASS YET?! Yeah I read the same thing...maybe whoever it is a Mara, a Tisch and/or Acorsi (or one of his boys) wants to see if Coughlin rights his own ship and sets things straight. That is the problem with those background quotes ... not knowing the identity of the quoter makes it tough to determine his true motives behind his statements.
