Typical NYR vs. NJD game in the first 2 periods a couple of juicy opportunities for both teams but only the Devils capitalize.... (I wonder when the Rangers will learn to put a body on Gionta in front of the net) & the the ice gets tilted completely against the Devils at the beginning of the 3'rd period. Within 90 seconds the Devils went from in control to getting OWN3D, put simply the Devils played for 40 minutes, went into the locker room & completely forgot what they were there for.

 

What a great game, especially when Jagr fluttered one just out of Brodeur's reach & in for the tying goal.... all Brodeur could do was stare at the referee swearing up and down that he was interfered with or the puck was toched with a high stick when he clearly whiffed on the puck. Shanahan icing it on the partial breakaway was excellent, even got the Maaaaaaaaaaartiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnn chant going.

 

Great night for us Rangers fans as the Devils are now 2 games in the hole to the Rangers! The only thing better than watching it on TV at a bar full of Devils fans & watching them leave in silence was being at the game myself watching those wearing Brodeur, Elias, Gomez & Gionta jerseys leaving with their heads hung in disgust...... oh yeah there was one thing better.... the whole PATH train back to NJ giving Devils fans greif the whole way!!!

Yeah was a great game last night...absolutly LOVE beating the Devils...I Fuckin' hate Lou...

 

 

I really Miss those days...cept used to be on the NJ Transit trains back to Woodbridge or Metropark!!!
