Controlling the line of scrimmage

THis is 3 weeks in a row and more importantly 2 weeks in a row on the road against what before the game was the best run defenses in the league and we go over 150 as a team tonight and 250 last week. I think we might be starting to get an identity here and we have proven we can run the ball. If this team plays even adequate defense we can win games.

I agree, but I thought we got a little too addicted to the long pass after Plax for that first TD catch. Eli started to look downfield too much, throw into double coverage more, etc. He started to settle down a little bit later in the game as he always does, but our gameplan could've been a little better in that aspect.

Don't get me wrong, I love taking shots. But I thought we pushed it a little bit.

The Chicago game may be the "King of Hill" game in the NFC. I just pray we dont play our all to familiar games against weak teams, i.e. the Bucs and Texans.

Well, as I'd ponited out in another thread.. we won after the bye week and we won on National TV.. now let's see if we manhandle teams like the Bucs and Texans (although the Bucs gave Philly hell)

We certainly did. I also think Eli got too happy sending it downfield. But I'm happy we scored a touchdown on our first possesion on a deep ball. We really didn't manage the clock well. The offense gets a B- from me during that game.

I don't think Tiki has had a more ugly 100 yd game since 2004.

I liked them taking the shot on 3rd and 1 where they were at was worth the risk because with BJ he could have just gotten it on 4th the way they were playin.

agreed. that was a great call. They got exactly what they wanted; Plex isolated in the end zone w/ a 5'7" defender. That int was on Plex. That having been said the guy has made some great catches this year so he gets a mulligan.

I totally agree that was all on Plax. I mean the cowboys are good against the run and they were expecting us to run. Hell of us expected a run. Had Plax caught that for a TD, no one would've complained. And what's up with all the bickering? Guys here are acting like we lost.
