and we dont even know what the potential is in Ramses Barden.
I hope through the season they give the kid a few tries in the redzone.
He looked very comfortable in preseason.
smith manningham nicks and barden lots to look foward to here,
its a question of timing on the Giants defensive play calling.
Dallas will be prepared to check down and call plays to
off set the heavy Giants rush. The Giants need to a great
job disguising the pressure.
A key to this game is the Giants shutting down the run and
keeping Romo throwing. Turn overs are a huge part of football
who ever has the least amount will probably win this game.
If Romo was the QB for the Redskins last sunday the outcome of the game
may have been totally different. A loss for the Giants would have been very possible.
You cant leave points on the table and let a team hang around.
Romo is a very good QB who can at times look like Joe Montana.
He is able to dump the ball off with great accuracy.
With the heavy pass rush I know there gonna check down often
and screens of all variety will be many. I hope Sheridan diguises
his pressure to keep it honest.
Sure handed tackling and good coverage from LB's will be key.
yeah i agree with the Giants LB's being isolated. Romo will check down alot I would imagine
especially if our rush is hot and heavy.
2 things that I hope for and thats a more consistant running game from the Giants
and touchdowns not FG's !!!
i'm glad for the win and some of the positives mentioned but
i am very critical of the lack of green zone production.
the giants must improve in this area. There inability to not
be able to run or pass into the endzone leaves alot of improvement.
Lets hope this gets better as the season moves foward.
He always made plays, classy dude. Never opened his mouth just played and performed.
All time great Giant. His toe tapping catches will always be remembered.
These kinds of deals dont happen that often. 3 way trading.
Not saying impossible but they are the exception.
As far as taking Edwards I think the Giants may already have what
we need if we be patient. If the deal did go down I would not be
against it mind you as long as no #1 pick were given up.
I like Nicks but he has not gone up against some very good DB's yet.
I think he may lack the kind of speed that will set him apart from the
burners of the NFL so I dont see him as a #1 guy ever but I could
be total fuckin wrong.
Manningham interests me as a #1 potential maybe I should lay
off the juice. Barden looks real smooth but against lower level
competition. Barden has huge upside. Harold Carmichael type
of the old Eagles. (dating myself)
