  1. Ugh. What is it with us not being able to keep our free safeties healthy?
  2. Not sure why he crapped on Eli... neither of those INTs were on him. Somebody get that man a Vodka.
  3. Heck yes, pumped the Giants beat the Eagles! They didn't play their best and they still won. Even better, McAdoo giving reps to Adams, Perkins, and Lewis... love to see that. Even though Lewis had the dropsies in this game, I think he can still be a very good player for us. Excited about beating Cincinatti next week!
  4. Wow! That's cool. Because he was a big Eagles' fan. Now keep Fletcher Cox away from Eli and we have a chance. (Probably will be more of John Jerry's responsibility)
  5. They were right. You know, I claim Landry and Lombardi as ours. They were Giants before Cowboys and Packers. Mara really screwed the franchise when he didn't hire Lombardi to be head coach when he had the chance, though. I hate the Eagles the most. Their fan-base is simply the worst. Cowboys are bad too but at least they have had something to back up their arrogance with. The Eagles are simply dumb dicks that embarrass themselves whether they win or lose. EDP445 is their perfect spokesperson. Can't complete a sentence without the word 'fuck', is an emotional infant, and morbidly obese. I hope Connor Barwin gets kicked in the nuts.
  6. Wasn't PEDs. Substances of abuse. So weed, possibly coke or somethimg worse. Probably weed, though.
  7. Lol Saban was winning national, championships without Kiffin. Kiffin is Saban's bitch boy.
  8. It was also Robinson that tipped up one of Collins' INTs.
  9. Yup, it was one play but I also saw Kennard make a huge play also last week. The Giants actually have good linebackers. It's real. More to Tree's point, since Robinson has been starting over Sheppard, they have been more effective against the pass, particularly at stopping TEs. And there's also Goodson waiting in the wings.
  10. If you saw the blitz packages Jim Schwartz was throwing at Dak last night, Eli should be very concerned. Our best chance is to get some turnovers... hopefully our secondary can make some big plays like last game. Would like to see Perkins get more burn in this game, also.
  11. LMAO. We would've probably destroyed his confidence in being a comedian, and he would've turned to heavy drinking, got divorced, and end up with a 12 gauge in his mouth. Probably best you lost him.
  12. Apparently he's a stand up comedian with shows around the NY/NJ metro area. You can see his schtick in person at the Baia Bay Ridge in Brooklyn tonight or the Brokerage Comedy Club this weekend. http://vicdibitetto.net/tour-dates
  13. Cut his fingers. LOL, I'm embarrassed for the guy just watching it.
  14. Flowers had a great game against one of the better DEs in football on Sunday. I think the criticism of the Oline from many corners of the internet is way, way overblown. This is not a bad oline. I was massively concerned about RT but even Bobby Hart has done a pretty good job. We aren't moving the ball for several reasons, the Oline isn't the issue, though.
  15. I'm not sure why his age or position matters. Personally, if he had come clean, admitted everything, took responsibility, was adjudicated by the legal system, made amends, and already seeking help, I don't have a problem with giving a second chance. I think Ray Rice being blackballed is cowardly. When a guy admits to it, does the right thimgs to get help, and you meted out punishment, do change now is simply pandering to the media, and i hate pandering. Stand on your principles. I do think 1 game was very light for having admitted domestic abuse. We'll see what happens. I do think depending on the circumstances, I'm for giving people another chance to make things right and redeem themselves. But you can do that and still be tough against Domestic Violence.
  16. Also, shouldn't the Giants have been in London on like, Tuesday?
  17. Looks like that's going to happen. Giants kicker Josh Brown will not travel with the team to London. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0580865517342957513-4
  18. The only thing that could save him is if he was transparent about all this with the Giants when they suspended him for a game. Otherwise, he's going to be cut. And he may be cut anyway just because of PR.
  19. By definition he was within the rectangle with the helmet removed during a celebration. I understand not liking the rule, and it is a dumb rule, but it was a valid penalty. Look again at the highlight. He begins to remove it before exiting the End Line, he was just outside of the End Line when he completed removal, and ran back inside "the rectangle" with helmet removed, during a celebration, even if it was only very briefly. If we are going to get this technical... then let's do it. In either case, he both violated the spirit of the rule plus the technical rule.
  20. You cannot take your helmet off after a TD like that. It was correctly called. I knew it was a penalty also, before the flag came out. They made the rule I believe when Emmitt Smith was playing. He would take his helmet off after every score. Way to market yourself, so people can see your face. He would often do it out the back of the endzone. They outlawed it. It was definitely a penalty.
  21. I understand but I don't think these guys would he any better if they didn't have other jobs. The NFL purposefully likes their refs to be successful in their careers outside of football. It is a protection against corruption, game-fixing, and besides, what would these guys do 40 hours a week? They know the rule book. Watch film and grade themselves? NFL has other people that do that and they work with the refs to get better. Unless they change replay rules on PI penalties, which I would advocate for, then we are going to have blown calls from time to time. It's jhst going to happen. But that DRC call was one of the worst calls I can remember, that should've been a no call.
  22. New England last year. Ugh. I was listening to it on the radio in my car... "and that's intercepted by Collins! ... NO, HE DROPPED IT!" Awful.
  23. What are you guys talking about? Refs get paid almost $200k a year, plus get a pension plan, and I'm sure that's not including per diem/stipend for food and travel expenses. And not including their pay if they work the postseason... where they get even more money. Refs get paid pretty well. None of these guys really need to work their other jobs if they didn't want to.
  24. 100% agree. I think labels don't really matter that much. He played well yesterday, and I was happy to see it. I'm less concerned if Eli is elite as I am with him playing at an elite level week in and week out. He played well yesterday. Having Odell run after the catch for 110 yards on two catches does surely help the passing stats, but I can't begrudge Eli that. He played a lot better, but I would still like the offense to run more efficiently. We still had 3 punts in a row on possessions yesterday, and went almost the whole first half without points. So I'm encouraged by the significant strides they made yesterday, and Eli through the deep ball very well, but another part of me is saying it shouldn't have been that close, and they had other opportunities they should have and could have capitalized on. But good game, and they need to keep going because they still need to dig themselves out of a hole they have made for themselves. The defense played great also, and would've held them to less points if not for turnovers and a ridiculous PI call on DRC that was absolutely a terrible call. As long as DRC and Jenkins are healthy, the Giants are going to be very tough for opponents to get the ball to their weapons on the outside.
