  1. Eagles have nothing but Westbrook. Their O line is weak....no recieving threat and McNabb is fragile. And Westbrook (although he is DAMN good) wants to be paid Ladanian money. I call BS! It goes like this: Ladanian BEST all around back, then MAYBE Westbrook is #2, a DISTANT #2.

  2. the dog recalls that it wasn't too long ago that most giant fans were viewing shockey as the second coming on draft day before he had played a down for them as well...and as for a TE being the "most underutilized position in terms of receiving," you need not catch a lot of passes to be an intrical part of the passing game in the NFL. A quality TE that commands attention from the defense opens things up for everyone else...good teams utilize them as a weapon all of the time, doesn't mean that statistically their TE's are pulling in huge numbers...the dog does agree that this was a win-win for all parties involved - the giants unload a potential distraction that has arguably underachieved since his rookie year...shockey gets a chance to start over on a team with a potentially explosive offense that can make a run in the playoffs...and the Saints add a potentially explosive player (if he toes the line and is rejuvenated by the fresh start) that can only raise the level if their offense...

    Well I'll be damned.....It's the 'Dog'!!!! ;)

    HiUdooin???

  3. I cant believe everyone turned on Shockey this quick. Wow.

Turned? I haven't. But if Shockey DID NOT (or wasn't happy) wanting to be a Giant anymore....who turned on who?:huh::unsure:

Like they say in the business "It is what it is, let's move forward".

  4. John Madden impression: "If if if if if if if if you could get an an an an entire team of Brett Favres to play an an another team of Brett Favres then then then I think I think I think I think BOOM! the world would explode."

It's funny how I read that in a Frank Caliendo/John Madden voice.....and I was laughing out load for real!!! :LMAO:

  5. He didn't want to be here. He forced his way off the team. Keeping him was an untenable option. What would you have the team do? Hypnotizing him into wanted to be a Giant again??

    THAT people, says it ALL!

  6. This just happened. Sorry, but it was too soon. If he gave us a problem this year id be all for it. But winning, which is what we're going to do alot of, would've solved this "problem."

It's life in the fast lane for the NFL and the Giants. The Giants are finally about TEAM instead of 'individuals' (IE "I want more catches as a TE, you aint using me right...") Most of us knocked Ernie A for his picks and desicions and now this is the WORST thing Jerry has done??? The Giants (for the most part) have a good nucleus of players now and I love it!!!! Sure Shockey was talented and will be missed but I'm moving on.... ;)

  7. give bush the same patience that the eagles gave westbrook and he'll be fine.

Bush is NOWHERE near as good as Westbrook. And I don't see Bush even getting close to being as good in the future as a Westbrook. The addition of a Shockey may help Bush along but be serious, Bush is FUGAZY. Scary ass cat.

  8. I guess your so biased against him that your blind. He was on crutches and still wanted to be on the sidelines, and he's a selfish asshole who doesnt wanna be on the team? Think about that. Im pissed and I dont understand how more of you arent. Maybe the majority of Giants fans dont know what there talking about. Ive always heard people say that, now im starting to see why.

It was obvious that Shockey did NOT want to be on the Giants. He wasn't happy here....so why aren't YOU pissed at that??? So the best thing (IMO) for both parties is to trade him. NFL business, let's move on!

(I look at it this way, we gained PLENTY of healthy players ie Bradshaw, Smith, and yes Boss..Boss isn't Shockey but he was healthy and productive when called on to produce)
