  3. Pierce is the veteran of the group, and the leader of the D. He can show any young protege "the ropes", if need be. Bringing in Chad Brown is of no value to the Giants, and does nothing on the field to bolster the D.

here is chad browns value :

the Giants show intrest in him after Arrington dose not sign. (and from what I've read on the net we gave him the highest offer. ) so know where is Arringtons mind set ? the highest offering franchise gave me an offer and I didn't sign so i better do something or I or the postens will price myself out of a job . maybe i better take another look at the Giants offer before the clock strikes midnight.

    R.I.P. JIM :(

Former Steelers, Giants lineman Jim Clack dies at 58

    NFL.com wire reports

GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 7, 2006) -- Jim Clack, a guard on two Super Bowl-winning Pittsburgh Steelers teams in the 1970s, died of heart failure. He was 58.

Clack had fought neck and throat cancer for about four years before his death at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, wife Susan Clack said.

Clack, who helped the Steelers win Super Bowls following the 1974 and 1975 seasons, played in 146 NFL games between 1971 and 1981. He played for Pittsburgh for seven season before joining the New York Giants in 1978 and playing for four more years.

Born in Rocky Mount, Clack attended Wake Forest and entered the school's hall of fame in 1991. He was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.

He returned to North Carolina after his football career, developing commercial and residential real estate and owning a restaurant. He started a sales training business and worked as a motivational speaker.

Clack also is survived by his stepchildren, Joseph and Lindsay Curtis, both of Wilmington.

A funeral is scheduled for April 10 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with burial at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro. A memorial service in scheduled for April 11 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.

  5. I only asked this question to see how people felt about bringing Mcnair in here ONLY as a back up and IF no other team was interested in him. IF he asks for 9 mill we would say no vet min plus you are #2 Qbif you dont like those conditions then consider your career DONE thats it point blank .

but now it seems as of he will be a Raven anyway so it dosent matter I myself would like to see him here at #2 for vet min

  6. TE Tony Jackson www.giants.com

Finally some one that can play in place of shockey :TU: now shockey can sit down for a change and see how a real TE is soposed to act with the rest of his team not to mention catch every ball trown to him and block every defensive man he can . work out with the ELI during the summer and actually work a couple maybe 3 hours overtime a night . oh and 10 hours on sundays too . I hope Jackson shows Shockey that MIAMI aint all that.

    Shockey...........what a pre-madona :brooding:

  7. Eli wouldn't have to worry about anything just make it clear to both of them Steve is here as an insurance policy incase Eli gets seriously hurt . or is on the winning side of a blow out with 3 minutes left or so

  8. That'd be pretty sad if McNair has to come here as a backup. We'd have to pay him starters money to come. No.

why would we have to pay him starters money to come to be a back up? I mean hey if no other team takes intrest in him why not get him for vet min if not oh well there's the door you can now go hang up you're cleats as well as you're career

  9. Giants GOT three QB's...why would they need Mcnair?

I was just saying thats all . don't you think McNair would be an upgrade from Hasslebeck?

don't you think McNair would be an upgrade from Hasslebeck?
saying that now we will hear from the peanut gallery : "hes better then the "tulip" we have starting for us now " or " hes better than the noodley armed Opie " .

I am talking back up fpr ELi not a Starter got the Giants

oh damn I forgot am I soposed to say something about a DT now

  10. GB dropped 3 spots to 18. I had to listen to the race on the radio again, but oh well. Thank God Texas is up next week.

I was at my grams 85th birthday party when I saw Biff hit the wall and all I saiD was "ouch He aint gonna like that ,he realy aint gonna like that " everyone thought I was talking about biffle when Infact I was talking about you "

  12. It's called racing.....and bumping and shoving on small tracks is common and necessary.....otherwise everyone just gets in line and stays that way throughout the entire race. I'm not a fan of Gordon, but I do respect the man's driving ability. He's the real deal when it comes to being called a "racer"....even if you hate the guy.

ah yes but............ when Gordan,Johnson or bush do that to some one they automaticallly blame some one else or go to the " Well you know its just racing " speach but damn if some one does it to them its like commiting a sin

He's the real deal when it comes to being called a hypocrite

  13. :TD: CoT ,CoF whatever you wanna call it

notice the big air plow in the front and the "wing" instead of spoiler on ther rear deck lid

is 2009 the last year for ACTUALL manufacture's points? get thee cookie cutters off the track I say . I also say lets the fans vote on the CoT when Nascar thinks it knows what us fans want is when they start loosing fans nascar would be nothing with out the fans and our $ THE LESS FANS THE LESS $ has the downward spiral begun with the advent of the CoT ? I belive it will

  14. I will pass on telling him. Edwards finished near the rear while Johnson finished in the top 10 that week. It was a mistake but a fortunate one for me. I will have to take it after this bullshit week.

oops my bad I thought that was for this week. I guess I should check the dates before I reply :P
