Stadium's practice bubble collapses e-mail print Monday, December 17, 2007 EAST RUTHERFORD -- The practice bubble next to Giants Stadium collapsed early Sunday in the wind, snow and rain. No one was injured. The indoor practice facility is expected to be repaired by Wednesday, the Giants' next practice day, officials from the Giants and the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority said. The bubble collapsed around 6 a.m. when its skin was damaged by the weather, allowing the air inside to escape, the officials said. The mishap forced the Giants to cancel a party scheduled for Sunday night prior to their game against the Washington Redskins. The gathering, for the team's Touchdown Club, and was expected to draw about 750 people at $85 a ticket. The team said those who bought tickets will get a refund or other compensation.

well I had a big spiel going but decided to wipe it out and the title was Just End The Season oh wait thats some one else's motto so I decided to look to the future because whats done is done. the Future: as a Giants fan ,how can I look at the team going into next year with optimistic hope that they will "get it together" next year and make a legitimate run at the playoffs. with the coaching staff we have now? He now has become Clueless. last night Steve Smith was given a cushion of about 12-15 yards at the LOS and no quick hitch called no quick slant called . hell LaRandy was 25 yards off the LOS and we should of eaten up the middle of the field with Shockey and Toomer ( I am not counting the drops just the play calls) Get him out of NY. Chris palmer : Eli's QB coach has anything changed since Palmer has been on board to guide Eli? Mechanics? The Giants have already filled the roster spot vacated by TE Jeremy Shockey's injury. The team signed TE Jerome Collins off its practice squad today and will officially place Shockey on injured reserve in the next two days, according to someone who has been informed of both impending roster moves. Coach Tom Coughlin said today Shockey will undergo surgery later this week and said the sixth-year veteran's ankle is an issue, not just the fibula. Coughlin didn't provide the details, so it's unclear if Shockey broke a bone in his ankle or if he dislocated it. Expect both Mike Matthews and Kevin Boss to see time in Shockey's absence. Collins is also an intriguing option. He's a 6-3, 270-pound monster who can also run and he's impressed the coaching staff since being added to the practice squad in Week 2. Collins was drafted in the fifth round of the 2005 draft by the Rams and was also on the Cowboys' practice squad when the Colts signed him to their active roster last year. Collins picked up a ring with Indy last year, but he was out for most of the season with a torn Achilles' tendon suffered in December. MG
