Running QGs like Vick ......or guys that can take a shot like Ben R. can't have it both ways. They dont' get to say "I'm not being protected the way the refs protect Brady"......cause the moment they get a "in the grasp sack" they toss a TD off of.....they'll be bitching that they aren't like other QBs and the blew the whistle too early. For that reason Defensive players can't pull up. If Brady is running the DB knows that unless its 3rd and short or 4th down...that number 12 is going to hit the deck or get out of bounds 100% of the time when they get close......so they pull up cause the know they are looking at penalty if they lower the boom. They don't have that assurance with Vick..in fact....they know he is going to try and burn them. C. Wagon

I'm not sure Clark could ever throw to 1st Dit... I remember an in filed of Salizar Sanchez at 3B, G. Micheals at SS....Horace at 2B and Ron Blomberg at 1B....other then Micheals.....that has to be one of the worst fielding in fields ever put on a diamond. Salizar put a ball in every box seat in section 1 c on the first base side one game. Mel Stottelmeir (sp) could have sued the Yankees for putting that behind him. C. Wagon.

Val's sort of sounds like my Grandfather's drug store...he had a lunch counter and old school soda jerk...a lot of the Yankees would stop in pre-game for a sandwich. .. I know they sucked in the 60 and 70's...but I loved it when they played in Yankee Stadium. .always struck me as "real football"...not the one size fits all, same old same old cookie cutters they play in now.....for the life of me, and I've looked high and low...I've always wanted a aerial photo of the stadium when it was configured for football. Its weird...but there are some underlying issues with both Sax and Knobby...they both forgot how to throw after they started juicing.....something similar happened to Brett Boone. All about the same builtd..all second basemen....all got real big....real fast. ..all "forgot how to throw". I remember Maas had a huge brace on his leg...maybe that is what did him in. I'm so fucking jealous....ever met Joe Morrison....Rocky Thompson....Spider Lockhard. I saw one double header in the old, old Stadium in 72"....fucking one of the best days of my life.......my grandfather had a drug store over in Washington Heights on Amsterdam Ave back in the 40's through say...65".....then it got so he was getting robbed every other week so he closed up.
