  1. Another Reese gem.....another reason why the Giants threw Coughlin under the bus.
  2. Gettleman was the true brains behind the front office.
  3. +1 And Antonio Pierce is head and shoulders above any linebacker they've had since, with the exception of Boley's breakout year in 2011.
  4. Easier to understand if you start from the premise that Reese sucks as a GM.
  5. This team sucks unless I see regular season results to the contrary.
  6. Jerry Reese is the main reason I no longer subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket.
  7. This. Offensive line got no push on the right side...in fact, it caved.
  8. P&R has confirmed how correct I am, and how badly our public education system has failed so many fellow Anericans.
  9. Not yet. If he gets mixed up with those Kardashians they will ruin him.
  10. I'd give Beckham one season before they turn him into a tranny too.
  11. What happened, did his feelings get injured? For fuck sakes, this dude is useless. Thanks Obama!!! ....sorry, wrong black dude that I always bash..... Thanks Reese!!!!
  12. If the NFL had any class, it would have refused payment. But they don't have any class. And our government is paying millionaire NFL stars to wave an American flag while thousands of homeless veterans are out on the streets. Very sad.
  13. It's one of the things that drove me crazy. Opponent would send a blitz against us, and unless it was Ahmad Bradshaw blocking on broken ankles, our RB would struggle to handle the blitz, Eli would get pushed out of pocket, and throw the ball out of bounds. Giants LBs blitz, and get locked together on a RB like a LEGO brick, while the QB makes hand motions for the receiver to go deep.
  14. “Having coaches linebackers my whole life, the ones that win for you and you can build a defense around have a nose for the ball. They’re physically and mentally really tough, and B.J.’s for work ethic,” Venables said. “He’s got intelligence. He knows how to get off a block. He’s got powerful, explosive hands, very violent with his hands. He doesn’t stay blocked. And he knows where the ball’s going, and that’s what the good ones do.” ....wait a second, are you sure it's legal for a linebacker to get off a block???? Seriously though, I'm more encouraged by this pick. Lost in all the misery of last year's defense was the absolute inability of the 5th pass rusher to create disruption. Opposing running backs were able to pick up and stone blitzes with ease. That's not supposed to happen.
  15. If a fucking maniac like LT were available in the draft, Reese would trade down to get away from him. Thank God Reese wasn't our GM back then.
  16. Supports my argument that the game has changed....players are running around defensive linemen, and you have Tight ends that create issues for defensive backs. Plus you've got QBs that can scramble, and are huge.
  17. Like you, I'm not happy with how the Giants handled the first round. They let the Bears run by and steal their lunch. And I'm holding by my opinion that Ragland will have a bigger rookie impact than Shepard....but I am okay with the Shepard pick since I know at least the Eli will you him to the fullest. Could be another Steve Smith player, which I'll take in a heartbeat. If Goodson can be an effective run stopper, and a disruptive blitzer, he will be a great addition.
  18. Now that Beason is gone, Kennard is assuming the title of "A Healthy".
