I strongly disagree that Moss has been a bust. It seems like everytime he's on the field something good happens. That one play he was on the field agasint philly he made a great catch. It's very hard to perform when you're standing on the sidelines. It's up to the coaching staff to get him on the field more.

Let's not forget that Shockey hasn't been Shockey..Sad to say Shockey hasn't lived up to the hype. We have a mediocre TE at best... Burress is at half speed, Toomer is not having a Toomer-like season, Moss in the game for 5 seconds, Smith has been injured... Our RBs have been rotating in and out of the trainer's room... And we're still 9-4... 9-2 since our D got it together. Yet some people are still bitching

Eli is better than decent. He plays better when the temperature is 40 or above. Too bad the last 3 games of the season are at home and Buffalo. Comes the playoffs, I hope we play at Tampa Bay.. then move on to Dallas... Remember Eli shreded the Dallas D.. it was our D that sucked balls back then. Don't be too harsh on the kid. I was too young to really know or watch Phil Simms.. so all I know is Dave, where's my advil, Brown, and Kerry, Deer in the headlights, Collins... This kids has given us far more excitement than anyone I know. This kid can only get better. I really think his supporting staff need to step up. Our WR corp is not good... be it injuries or whatever else. I think Moss is going to become something special.. enter Steve Smith. I love Toomer to death but he's not having a Toomer-like season. Shockey is not the Shockey we saw in his rookie year. Eli had one really terrible game against the vikes.. Romo had a worse game against the Bills.

If he's able to play every week, that tells me the "injury" isn't that bad. It's a fucking ankle and if it was bad enough he won't be able to run at all. Sorry if I come off stubborn but I don't buy he's really injured.

You do make a good point however the eagles were in his face all day. Sometimes I wish he'd mimic his brothers velocity.

I can totally understand why the Giants were playing it safe. The Eagles are a good team... especially on defense. We knew it was going to be a close game. Coming out with 3 points beats the hell out of an INT any day. This game was a chess match for field position.

The 2nd fumble put a bad end to otherwise superb run. Man It was great seeing him rumble. He needs to learn how to hold the ball tight under all circumstances.. And Plax needs to tuck the ball also.

I don't know about that part. Our D backfield is still our weakness. Our pass rush seems to cover that. TO has his way with the Giants and Green Bay shredded us also. We need one more solid CB either via draft or Free agency to compliment Ross. I wasn't worried when they said both our starting safeties were out because the new guys couldn't possibly be worse. I saw flashes from Johnson last week and i thought both him and Dahl played very well. As far as your question as to when was th elast time our D was this good, I'd have to just say.. If the temp is below 40, don't get your hopes up. Even though I'm not completely sure Eli sucks in cold weather, I will keep my eyes wide open to see if this holds true.

Tamp Bay for the following reasons: 1. The trip is shorter to Tampa than it's to Seattle. 2. In all likelihood the weather in Tampa will be warm and sunny while in Seattle maybe wet and sloppy. And we now can conclude Eli plays shitty in cold weather and plays great in warm weather.. even when we lose (see Dallas).
