  1. When it rains. Do we start mock drafts now? It sure looks like we’ll have the number 1 pick.
  2. It seems like you’re suggesting our highly touted DL sucks donkey balls.
  3. Cut Olijari too…. I don’t care if he’s still on his rookie deal… it’s like he doesn’t want to play and when he plays, he’s underwhelming.
  4. He’s not built to run that’s for sure. The problem is he’s running because the pocket collapses after 1 Missi (sacked) sippi. If he keeps running, he’ll have a very short career.
  5. And how much has that offensive line improved over the 5 years?
  6. Broken clock alert: it’s the offensive line, wise guy.
  7. The Loss of three top performers on the offense (Thomas, Barkley, and JMS) has a lot to do with how things have gone south. The defense regression remains a mystery.
  8. I don't know how many people here have actually played football on any sport for that matter. An open receiver is only open if the ball can get to him BEFORE the defender can close in on him. If the WR is between the QB and the defender, expect the defender to close in very quickly and even make it a pick 6. That play where Robinson was allegedly "wide open" had a defender a few steps away from trying to bait jones into throwing the ball... Last I checked Robinson is around my height so let's not pretend he's going to outmuscle the defender like Metcalf can. Small guys like me better have separation AND not stuck in the dotted line between QB and CB... meaning I'm either heading to the sideline, inside, or seeing daylight towards the end zone... Go take a look at that play again and look who was waiting a few yards behind Robinson. Yes, Jones made a few bad plays but when you're getting pummled out there, that's bound to happen. Some people like to forget how many INTs/Bad throws Eli made. Shit even fucking Mahmoes threw 2 stupid INTs against the Jets. Aside from a bad OL, how's our defense doing? that's 50% of the blame right there... OL gets about 40% and split the remaining 10% between QB and WR/TEs not getting open and playing like pussies. Until EVERYONE takes responsibility, I'll defend Jones every day and twice on Sunday.
  9. Objectively, Jones did regress but who wouldn’t with a running game and without an offensive line? Hopefully Barkley, Thomas and the rookie center are back to health this week.
  10. No. He did the right thing. He fucked and is owning it. Let it go.
  11. OMG I wish I can unsee that.
  12. Yep... that's for sure.
  13. He doesn’t want to slide… trying too hard. Not very smart of course but here we are.
  14. I don't know, I just think the title of the thread is telling. There are people on this board who are historically anti-Jones and there are homers like me who are historically pro-Jones. We get he's not Mahomes... but he sure the fuck has the worst offensive line I can think of... and to think our well performing rookie center and our stud LT were out of the game.... I wonder what could have gone wrong. How bad was our defense in 2012? And it's not like Eli didn't make bad throws and had lots of INTs.
  15. I'm not disputing any of that. The guy is running for his life though. It's easy for us to sit and point out who was open from the replays in the comfort of our couches but maybe just maybe it's a lot more difficult to process all of that knowing you're going to get crushed.
  16. I think the Rookie center and the rookie WR are doing quite well. Even Banks isn't too bad for a rookie.
  17. But that would mean not drafting for other positions. What you're suggesting is just not realistic.
  18. But somehow that analogy didn't apply to Barkley who's a difference maker. Besides, who said you could just sign those 2 guards anyway?
  19. Please read the very first comment. So True.
