  1. Burress is only 6'5''.. but I'm just being technical. An inch is a big difference.. I don't care what any female says!
  2. There was probably a lot of people who didn't like the Tom Brady pick either.
  3. With how low risk drafting a kicker is, definitely... And the fact that you never have to say "well, they can play at the college level, but can they play at the NFL level?" Kicking is kicking. Just find us a guy with a strong leg, and accuracy to go with it. Following our off-season, and draft, I don't think it'd be a stretch to feel that Kicker is our weakest position.
  4. We had... Dave Brown and Danny Kanell haha. We went 7-0-1 in the division that year.. Still had the Cards to play.. and we tied 7-7 to the Redskins.. Was the 1st year under Fassel, and we lost to the Vikings 23-22 in the Wildcard game.. drats.
  5. Ike Hilliard with the 7th pick in 1997!
  6. The easiest way to realize that a WR is a dire need for us is...... to remember back to the last 5 or so games of last season(including that Eagles game) when we were without our #1 WR. No other WR on our team could fill that role for us. If anyone finds a way to disagree with this.. then.. I don't even know what to say.
  7. Even more proof that Denver doesn't give a shit about their players. Once Everett made that shocking, unexpected recovery, Hixon turned it all around. It pissed me off when we had RW McQuartnuts returning punts during the playoffs of our Superbowl run.. Especially during the Green Bay game! What a nightmare he was!!

  9. Because they're both aged. The Giants build for the future, not so much for the next year, and next year only.. There's a reason both of their teams let them go.. Not worth the money anymore. But they both had solid careers.
  10. I didn't mean my IQ dropped because of the David Carr comments.. but because of how poorly constructed the second sentence was.
  11. I feel as if my IQ just dropped 10 points after reading this.
  12. As much as I feel Plax under-performed, or we just plainly didn't get the ball to him enough.. Yes, I'd want him back. But at this point, I'd accept TJ with open arms. He absolutely tore us and the Eagles up. 12 catches in each game, for 146 and 149 yards. But like a few others, I question how much of that was due to having Ocho-Stinko on the other side of the field.
  13. does the regular season seem toooo damn far away? Today is March 1st, and we now have like 6 months before it starts.. ahh, Wish it started next week Must find a way to be patient.. Good thing baseball's regular season is right around the corner
  14. Definitely.. and even when he hits Empty, he'll still be a great leader on the field and in the locker room.. Not to mention, he does a lot for the community
  15. I'd love to see him in a Giants jersey as well.. or any jersey that isn't the Eagles, Cowboys, or Redskins
