  1. I still think we may end up with this kid and a second round QB. Thomas start at LT. Olu to RT. Neal gets moved to guard.
  2. I'd be willing to give Phillips a year at RT if they kick Neal inside. He's been our best lineman outside of AT. Another guy who wasn't developed by the Giants lol
  3. Nope wouldn't touch the kid with a 10 foot pole. Since he'd probably tear another ACL
  4. To be fair inside the top 5 (with a loss) I don't think position will matter just who the Giants fall in love with. I really don't think this QB draft is as spectacular as the pundits are raving about, reminds me of that 2011 draft when four QBs went top 15 all of them "can't miss guys" The only one anyone can name is Newton. Locker, Ponder and Gabbert were the other three.
  5. His injury history is scary. To ACLs and multiple breaks. Dude is one 300lb lineman landing on him away from being in a wheelchair. As you said though super talented thrower. But after Jones I don't want my franchise QB missing time.
  6. Got to wonder what ATs development is more of a miracle on him than the Giants. All the reports after his rookie year of doing rehab on his ankle along with working out with those trainers after his first season. He's been through what? Four Oline coaches here? Colombo/Judge, Johnson and whoever replaced Colombo. Less of the Giants and more of ATs professionalism to seek help outside of the building.
  7. Then again maybe they play the starters to build some momentum since they just shit the bed.
  8. Via Mr.CryMeASirianni press conference. Win or lose the Eagles stay in the same playoff spot, the only factor is the Washington/Dallas game which may move them down a spot. They are "in discussion" about resting starters against us. I said it in the gameday thread, they will rest their starters, we win the game on a last second TD. In the end we get pushed out of a top 5 pick and the Eagles get the last laugh.
  9. Even the Bills Oline seen stark improvements after Johnson left.
  10. I believe PFF mainly just looks at individual win rates. But yeah they can't be relied upon fully. There's plenty of good Oline with those around them who are awful but still perform. I just mean we have invested the most of any team in the NFL the last 10 years in high round Oline picks and we have the worst Oline to show for it. Coaching is a large reason why, whatever player development/acquisition that doesn't exist on this team the last decade.
  11. Well without fail the Giants took another sure fire can't miss Oline prospect and turned them into the worst in the NFL. JMS was unequivocally the best center prospect in the draft, and top 5 for interior Oline. Analysts and pundits raved about his natural transition to center and his ability to set the tone, he was a day one starter who will thrive and get better. Well that's until Bobby Johnson got a hold of another highly touted prospect. This team has failed at developing talent and this is something that needs to be addressed, especially with a rookie QB on the way on this team sooner rather than later.
  12. On one hand I hope we beat them at full strength and ruin their moral going into the playoffs. On the other hand they may rest their starters and we end up fucking up our draft position. Then again maybe we just go full 2023 season and lose to their backups to end the year lol and secure a top 5 pick.
  13. Daniels is still on the table and I would love to see him as the next Giants QB.
  14. Also wonder if Crosby was told to shank the kick lol Would of went from #5 to #10 in draft position.
  15. Slayton has to be one of the most bi-polar players I've seen. Disappears for weeks on end then decides to go off the last few weeks. Still isn't worth keeping him but would be nice if he played like that all year.
  16. Yeah the Eagles are flawed, whatever the 49ers exposed.
  17. Also Robinson could be one of those rare RB/WR players. Dudes shifty enough for it. Tyrod had a good game despite the Oline trying to get him killed.
  18. Well when it mattered Wink called some of the softest defense I've seen. Oh well the Giants fought and ultimately our draft position gets better. Bring on the Eagles.
  19. lol Defense looks like shit yo. Who care at this point.
  20. The explanation is, Decker (they guy who caught the pass) reported but they thought it was Skipper (the extra tackle who ran in on the play) lol The refs got dementia. They really need body cams on the refs or they're always mic'd.
  21. Until the NFL hires these refs full time and start paying them an actual wage where they don't need second jobs, this will continue. Get former players and young blood in. Half of these guys are over 60. They should be at home telling stories about how the world was so much better when the ethnics couldn't vote, not officiating a game.
  22. I'm always surprised injuries and shit are always second checked by league doctors. So not only does it slip by the Giants but also the NFL. lol
  23. Tay Tay is a national fucking treasure.
