For any Giants fan who wanted Jim Harbaugh...Joe Hortiz's exit from GM search might've killed that scenario. Hortiz is close to John Harbaugh & had Jim high on his coach list. And as of a couple days ago, Jim H was interested in talking to the Giants, along with other NFL teams.
