knoblauchs throwing woes didnt come to light until after 1999, before that he was very good. Brosius was a stud at 3b..I dont know where youre getting he was no prize there...it was for his defense that the yankees went and got him. he was know as a bad bat, good glove 3rd baseman. it was a peasant surprise he hit as well as he did with the yankees. they had plus defenders at every position.
this cant even be debated, the yankees were a great defensive team.
