I think Bay was starting to hit, so bad timing.  Slight rib fracture.  I think it allows Nieuwenhuis to stay up, will probably take over LF when Torres gets back.  

Pelf might be out for a long time.  Got off to a hot start, had me totally surprised.  Bummer.  Swelling in the elbow and a tear is feared.  Probably going to see Dr. James Andrews and that usually means bad news.

I do like it that Cap'n Kirk stays up for longer.  This guy is probably going to stick around all year.

Wheeler got his first win at AA a few nights back. He lowered his ERA to 1.75. He is still walking a little too many batters. Not ready for AAA yet.
