Gman329 Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 RE - Bears Fire Sale: you'll hear a lot of speculation about Matt Forte being next guy out the door but he's 30, in the last year of his contract and he would cost multiple draft choices.....but Eddie Royal could come cheap and if he's healthy (I know he was coming off an injury coming into the season), he'd be excellent as an all purpose receiver, especially in the slot. I advocated getting him when he left SD as a free agent and he's disappeared in the morass that is the Chicago Bears. I see him as an under the radar guy who could have a huge impact. Thoughts? If Welker wants too much it might be an option. Otherwise though I wouldn't give up a pick for one guy when you can get a similar guy off the street for just his contract.
