boohyah
Looks like they are ready to move on in baltimore. I dont see us drafting a qb. If eli did retire, would you kick the tires on him. He does have a huge contract.
Nas
No. There are been options out there...
CrazedDogs
HAHAHA, Baltimore is about to go full retard. That was a high school offense they were running yesterday, I don't care if they won.... they didn't deserve to. That shit doesn't deserve to win on an NFL field. If the Bengals had any coaches left to fire they'd probably do it, that loss to the Ravens yesterday is about as embarrassing as it gets. They were completely unprepared for a run of the mill, read-option offense. I think it may have been almost the second half for the Ravens even attempted any passes. BlueInCanada
Naww even when he's healthy he's garbo. I feel bad for Jackson the kid is gonna be the next RG3. They are going to fail to build his passing skills and just tell him "to go out there and run around" I give him a few years before he is suffering from some repeated leg/ankle injury. CrazedDogs
"passing skills"? Lamar Jackson has no passing skills to develop.

Theyre asking for it having him run so much but as a fan I highly enjoyed watching a team play like that
CrazedDogs
Well, having a mild rooting interest for Cincinnati, it was shitty to watch from here. Probably would have enjoyed it otherwise, but I also know that isn't sustainable.
Sephiroth
No. Flacco is literally the poor man's Eli.

K3VIN
"passing skills"? Lamar Jackson has no passing skills to develop. He made some pretty big strides at Louisville. He still is probably 2-3 years out
Mr. P
If Eli was already gone, sure depending.
fringe
No. Flacco is literally the poor man's Eli. He makes more.Id prefer D Carr but Flacco will do. Either is a better choice than reaching for a non blue chip rookie. We missed our chance last year. No solution will be ideal.
BronxRik
We could always give Kerry Collins a call.

jranieli
Yeah, no thanks. I would take my chance with Eli for another year than Flacco.
Iceman_NYG
If the OL plays the way it is down the stretch, Id rather roll with an improved OL and Eli for another year before drafting the QB of choice. Im more sold on Patterson than Herbert at this point. If Michigan beats OSU then its possible Patterson gets into Round 1 talk - but I wouldnt want to spend a 1st rounder on him. Iceman_NYG
Remind me again why the retard Chargers drafted Rivers and shipped Brees out of San Diego.........the Saints landed a fucking gold mine man
Herc
Brees was a free agent and coming off a major shoulder injury. Also I think he didnt start playing well until after they drafted rivers. I might be remembering that timeline wrong

Brees was the "bust" and Michael Vick was the star QB from that class, lol.
K3VIN
odd I just looked back at his stats . How first three years don't seem as bad as I remembered
fringe
Wasn't Brees supposed to sign with Denver or Miami and someone met him at the tarmac and convinced him to go to NO? (I may have dreamed this whole scenario or it's someone else entirely).

fringe
Ok I haven't lost it completely. Wasn't there some DeAndre Jordan type intrigue?
K3VIN
Saban wanted him in Miami but the doctors wouldn't pass him. So they got Donte Cullpepper and the rest is history
