I know he's not really a Giant but whatever uni he has on, the guy can plain out deal.

Plus, we'll not likely see another 300 game winner- at least not for the next decade.

Hats off to Randy Johnson.

here we go again.

Pedro's only 86 behind.

in over 200 less starts and over 1300 less innings.

214-99 is such a sick career record to have. to put it in perspective, he won more than half his starts, johnson won less than half his.

Randy Johnson: 45 years old

Pedro Martinez: 37 years old.

That being said, if I had a choice of either Randy or Pedro, I'm taking Pedro

every time.

i don't blame you- in your timewatching baseball, martinez was a little more dominant and much more in the public eye.

johnson always shunned attention plus he played for mostly small market franchises.

but 50 years from now you'll talk about a scary and dominating 6'10 lefty who scared the crap out of lefty hitters with 100 mile heat and a killer slider and once killed a bird! He's a Bunyanesque figure.

definitely. i just think people are going to talk about pedro the way they talk about kofax as far as having a half dozen or so absolutely dominating years. i can see why vg likes rj, he's a lot like nolan ryan as far as having ridiculous cumulative career stats.

Is Pedro even pitching anymore? i seriously don't know, i heard earlier in the year the Rangers were looking at him, but that was it.

hey, hey , hey.....Nolan, on any given night, was the most unhittable pitcher to ever toe the rubber.

Problem is he was just as likely to walk you as strike you out.
