So I know I've said this before, but I'd like to reiterate: fuck the NFL.

I'm trying to do the right thing this year and pay for NFL games, so I've been using TunnelBear and NFL GamePass to make it look like I'm overseas while I stream the game.

Well, earlier in the season they weren't properly streaming preseason games, but it was preseason so whatever, who cares.

Now its the playoffs and it wouldn't stream the Pats game yesterday (not a huge concern), and now it won't stream the GB/Cowboys game (which I'd actually like to root against the Cowboys).

What fucking assholes. These guys are never getting a dime of my money again... I'm with BiC, I'm free streaming from now on. Right now I'm using vipbox.biz with two different popup blockers and it's working OK so far. Hope I can still get a refund.

those sites are the best. pick up a chromecast for 35 bucks and you can watch it on your tv too

You can watch first row with chromecast? Doubt it. Chromecast is so limited, like only to legit apps

But firstrow is good

Yeah I've been using Firstrow for the last four or five seasons.

Using Firefox or Chrome with Ad block plus, I've never had a single problem.

Yes... once I read this I went to Mozilla...downloaded the updated Adblocker + and proceeded to watch the games without interruption. :TU:

Yep. I watched the Panthers/She-Hawks game on my Chromecast via vipbox. You can stream anything in your Chrome browser to your TV... its a pretty handy 35 dollar gadget.

Of course you didn't know this man... the cable and phone companies have invested millions in keeping people in the dark about their choices. In reality they are going to so alienate their customers with their insatiable greed that they will open themselves up to more federal/state regulation and/or the consumer will look at alternatives. Look at the recording industry... when CD's first came out in 1980...it was a revolution... now you could own a recording that would not theoretically wear out during most normal lifespans... The music listening public was programmed to buy LP after LP ... 45 after 45... and that was a good thing. I remember first taking my allowance and then parts of my paycheck down to the local record store and leave with a minimum of 5 LPs and countless 45...why because they were priced to sell.

By 1980-81...LP's were 3-10 dollars a piece dependent upon the artist, label, whether it was a two, three or four LP set. You know how much CD's were costing...18 to 25 dollars .... and within a year it became cheaper to produce CD's than LP's but the recording industry got used to making 1000% profits (at least) on every CD sold. So instead of a kid or young adult buying literally hundreds of records per year... this came down to 10 -25 CD's for the average Joe. For a long time people lived under this tyranny...looking for work arounds like copying borrowed CD's onto cassette tapes...an imperfect solution...then in the 90's computer geeks latched onto mp3's and independent artists flocked to this... the bottom fell out of the CD market...but do you think they learned anything from this...? No ... Did the recording industry do some self reflection and try to understand reasonably why this came about...NO... They decided for litigation and the destruction of the mp3 market.

There were so many other ways to have approached this...the format is way too compressed for most high end music to sound like nothing more than garbage... but people were so fed up at being over charged. Lets not even talk about movies first with VCR's then DVD's now digital downloads. Again the industries rather make a killing in one sale rather than make money in multiple sales. Its a skewed and stupid business model. Right now I only have Verizon Fios for high speed internet and one...ONE... house phone ... I don't have Fios TV... I save 40 dollars a month. My monthly bill is only 65 dollars. Plus the packages that they offer are mostly channels I would never watch...but do they allow you to pay for what you actually watch NO...you have to pay for 25,000 shopping channels that corporations pay 100's of millions to these cable and phone companies to sell to you. Fuck them and their rackets... I don't even miss regular cable. I have been cable free since April of last year.

This, well expect I wasnt around for the LP era.

About six years ago I cancelled my satellitte subscription and havent looked back.

Hola unblocker allows me to view every countries Netflix, plus any other streaming service.

Plus there are countless streaming sites of live TV, that with a simple ad blocker makes them pretty much painless to use.

Not to mention torrent sites for any movie I feel like watching.

Huh, is Hola only for Canada?

And does anyone still use Wizwig?

I've used it for the last two years, are these other sites any better?

So I have netflix on my TV through a Samsung box that has a chip built into it to pick up my wireless connection. where does hola fit in here?...... or are you talking about watching netflix on a laptop?

Hola is a Firefox/Chome extension.

It bascially just gives you a fake country VPN so you can view all the different countries Netflix, and I must say the UK Netflix, far and away superior to either the US or Canadian.

OK, so I need to use a browser to use it then, got it.

Another question, over on wizwig I've never used any AD-Block, I just click them off after the time period is over. Are you guys saying a Blocker won't let the adds come on in the first place, need to try that if so?

Adblocker Plus or + ... it is adaptive and constantly updates... a random pop up might get through but its golden... it works wonders for sports, music and porn sites filled to the brim with ads and fucking malware. Its browser specific... so if you use safari...chrome...mozilla...etc just google for that browser

I'll be looking at it soon. I do the same thing with my rooted galaxy phone, have an app that blocks ads so you can grab an app that you like and not worry about the nag screen or pay for it.
