I see a problem in the fact that teams don't even respect our running game. Eli is having to throw too much to make up for it too. all the Eagles did was lay back and prevent the deep ball knowing we couldn't run. all the FG's were proof of it because they can't control the clock and wear teams down. that's not going to cut it in the playoffs against better teams. I'd really like to see what an offseason in the weight room can do for him. He needs to do whatever Tom Coughlin did to Tiki Barber because Tom didn't just cure the fumbling problem. He cracked 2000 when he finally had a decent line. But their flavor of the run and shoot was real good for Sanders' game. It spread the D out wide and give Sanders lots of space to find/make his own hole. The OL almost didn't even matter. Hopefully some of the reviews improve as the offseason progresses and more in-depth studies are done. Because I for one, think that offensive line x2, tight end, and WR are more pressing than RB.
