Storm Posted October 16, 2016 Share Posted October 16, 2016 Triplette's crew dicked them earlier in the season, too. The only crew that really does try to call a penalty on every play. That's teams and qbs looking for a bailout (the falcons coach went ballistic when he didn't get one and it was the right no-call). Unless it's egregious, like being dragged down or pushed before the ball gets there, sure....but hand checking and physically jockeying for position like DRC (minorly) did, keep the fucking flag in your pocket. On the DRC call, there was a brief arm bar but no more than you see a dozen times a game - with no flag. Especially under the circumstances, that's a BS ticky-tack call. The second was the worst call ever seen by anybody in the history of football.... the Duke Johnson fumble where she signaled the Redskins had the ball even though the ball wasn't within ten yards of the pile she said she saw the ball in.
