Anybody know what's up with this guy?

Not for nothing, but Tiki Barber played with a broken arm and was still the best player on the team in Coughlin's second season. JPP had half a hand and was the best D-lineman last year. This guy has a "thumb injury" and has been out for three weeks. They can't put this thing in a soft cast and have him hold the ball in the other hand?

For a guy who was lauded for his work ethic when he signed here, it's sure starting to look like he's just collecting a paycheck.

I would rather get younger and faster at RB. Dalvin Cook in round one please

I was thinking before the trade deadline. what is it November 7th or something? Pittsburgh is hurting on Wrs. Lewis jr and King can fill cruz's shoes

Actually thinking about this again..... Is our running game game faltering because we do not have a blocking fullback? Also wouldn't that help Eli to have a fullback to help keep the pocket cleaner. Even if it were for 2 seconds.

We run 11 personnel about 90% of the time. I don't think it will make a difference because the RB's are awful

Yeah it takes away from the short yardage offensive punch of the running game. Better blocking Tight Ends would help more than a FB.

You could have Adrian Peterson in his prime back there.. nothing will come of out if your OL is shitty.

This.

Our line can't run block very well. It's great that Mac has started doing more traps and pulls with them, but this is a finesse line through and though. Ask them to do in-line blocking and they're blown 5 yards off the ball.

At the end of the day, these guys are C+ to B - players. There's not a real blue-chipper on that line, except maybe for Richburg.

It will take time for the run blocking to get better. This is actually something that only gets better during the season. The last two weeks have had the offensive line falling back into pass protection about 80% of the time. That obviously isn't going to help the run blocking. The more they do it the better they will get and their confidence in doing it will also improve.

Looking ahead there is a good chance they will be adding someone in free agency or the draft because Jerry and Beatty are free agents at the end of the season are on the other side of 30 and well then there is Newhouse.

I hope O'Sullivan is watching Falcons tape to see what they do with Freeman and Coleman. That could be Jennings & Perkins IMO.

Does it matter what O'sullivan does when it's Hackadoo who calls the plays?

Giants are 3-0 this season when Jennings starts.

They are 0-3 when he was absent.

Id like to see more of Perkins but i still believe that a healthy Jennings is our best option ( but is he healthy ? not sure )

Trent Dilfer wins the Superbowl 100% of the time!
