It's official: The Chargers are relocating from San Diego to Los Angeles.

Chargers owner Dean Spanos announced the decision in a letter released by the team while informing his staff about the move Thursday morning. The Chargers had until an NFL-mandated deadline of Tuesday to make a decision on whether to relocate or not.

"After much deliberation, I have made the decision to relocate the Chargers to Los Angeles, beginning with the 2017 NFL season," Spanos wrote. "San Diego has been our home for 56 years. It will always be part of our identity, and my family and I have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for the support and passion our fans have shared with us over the years."

So the Rams, Chargers, and probably the Raiders all in one market, good going NFL, fan attendance should top 10k at each game.

And aren't the Raiders the frontrunners to move to Vegas?

Yeah, and everyone here is creaming their panties over it. Supposedly, they're going to share the stadium with UNLV. Personally, I don't think it's going to happen. The fan base is just too mixed for there to be a profit for the Raiders. I guess extreme die hards would fly in from Oakland for a game, but I just don't think the NFL will see that as a sustainable source of income. And as we all know, the NFL is all about the money.

I'd rather fly to Las Vegas to watch the Raiders play than Oakland. Move the draft there, sounds even more interesting.
