Tempest
Now he is a bell-cow of a RB. I like Jennings but I like Morris more. I think Darkwa and Williams will be good RB's in a committee system, just not here. http://www.hngn.com/articles/176133/20160204/washington-redskins-alfred-morris-being-re-signed-nfl-free-agency.htm Maybe this is a case of the grass being greener on the other side of the fence. Sephiroth
Hasn't he not really done anything since his rookie year?
BlueInCanada
Hasn't he not really done anything since his rookie year? Far from it in my opinion. He didnt get as many carries this year, about 80 carries less then previous years but his last three seasons he's put up 1000+ yards rushing and 7+ TDs. He'll be making money somewhere. gmenroc
I wouldn't sign him for more than what we've already signed Jennings...and with the team needing so much help elsewhere, I can't see justifying it this year. Right side O-Line #2 WR All levels of defense These 3 need addressed in a big way this offseason.
Treehugger
No point bringing in other RBs until McAdoo gives up on the rotational backfield experiment. We saw what Jennings can do when he gets more than every third carry.
MikeGL
I like him, but here's hoping Jennings can play better this year.
Allstarjim
He's just above a JAG, IMO. Jennings is a better player, I don't see the point. Draft a guy some where in rounds 4-6. Or go get Lamar Miller if you want to spend money at the position in free agency. Here's the RB free agency list if anyone is interested: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/running-back/

However, I'm more with the idea of drafting a guy in 4th-6th round like you say. I don't understand why the Giants keep paying top dollar for RBs when most teams find them for cheap in the draft. so-cal dub
Yeah he'd do real well behind our devastating O-line
Herc
good player that still has plenty left in the tank and not a ton of miles on him which is uncommon for a successful rb who hits free agency (just look at the list jim posted, it's him miller and martin), but he's like priority #1,000,000 when you consider the other things we need and i don't think we should waste more than a million in cap space on a rb. i think the running game will improve if we just cut williams out of rotation, give 75% of the carries to jennings, use vereen on passing downs and bring back darkwa for his very cheap price to spell jennings a bit. doesn't sound like that's the plan though. mcadoo defended the 4 man approach when francesa interviewed him and kinda chalked up jennings usage and production spike at the end of the season to "riding the hot hand". and yeah the o-line run blocking better would help a lot too

Treehugger
Morris' YAC have been dropping each year of his career; 4.8, 4.6, 4.1, 3.7.
