He want's an accurate pocket passer. Does SF have a QB I'm not aware of???

fringe
What I saw of kaipernick this season, it's hard to believe he fits any system
Blindgreed1
I thought for sure Mariota was a mobile qb. My bad, I thought Kelly was coaching an NFL team. Didn't realize he went back to college ball.

I thought his system and coaching career could include college. That's how I looked at it.

So where does Bradford fit into this theory? He didn't just happen along Bradford. He went and got him. I'm pretty sure Bradford was never accused of running the ball in any way shape or form. Virginia Giant
It fit him into unemployment. Same as Murray. He got an NFL job because of his system of mobile qb's and east-west running....goes out and gets the human statue and a bruising back. Not surprising it flopped. I think his offense is more about tempo than mobile QB. He needs someone who studies the playbook and has the smarts to run a high tempo offense. Control and accuracy. Ability to run 74 offensive plays per game. I don't see where Kaepernick fits.

Sephiroth
Honestly, it doesn't look like that franchise has much going for them. Kelly doesn't look to be a very good coach, Kaepernick isn't a good QB, and Baalke isn't a good GM. They're going to be in the basement for a while. Storm
He must be a real dick, too, to not get a second season. Just kind of surprising to me, that's a dude who doesn't have a terrible 4 year record given what he had to work with. He probably could have done the same thing with Wentz this year. Check down to Darren Sproles isn't hard to do.
NightFire
The GM was fired so this is a complete nuke from orbit. Kelley could have been well liked but was still going to be fired.

BlueInCanada
This guy has the mindset that he's bigger than the game. Trying to reinvent the way someone builds a winning team. He will get a job with the Bills or the Rams and tank the franchises even further into mediocrity, and then retire from the NFL.
