Fuck that.. we're drafting a safety in the first 3 rounds

Depends what you're looking for...free safety or strong safety?

Durrell Eskridge in the 4th is a guy I like, as is Clayton Geathers. I haven't read a ton on either, but at first blush, they're intriguing.

Given how this FA has been dull as fuck and now that Rolle is gone, it's just a glaring need. And given our track record with later round safeties, I can't fathom not picking a safety in the 1st 3 rounds (not in the first I hope). I'm gonna start reading up on the guys you mentioned.

And I believe Parker is in Chicago...

Damn, I've never seen so many scrub, middle of the road safeties distributed between merely two teams before as I've seen this year with Chicago and Tampa Bay. Those rosters read like a list of "meh" starting safeties from 2010.

Thanks, just saw that Rahim signed. 3 years at $4 mil annually? And we can't swing that? Parker is in Chicago, but I heard that several teams are still in the running, and I'd be surprised if he signs with them during his visit. What I read is he has other visits planned already.

From what I read, the Giant's arnt in the great of a cap spot, much like last year.

Eli's 19 million isnt helping the situation and tagging JPP put another 14 on top of that.

The Giant's have long term cap room, but it's not like they have 30 million to go spend on singing bonus and yearly contracts.

And here are my biggest problems with this team right now. I can't figure out why extensions for Eli and Prince haven't been worked out yet... or at least something been said as to make it seem like they're trying to. On top of that, what's going on with JPP? Are we working on a contract or are we going to let him prove himself on this $14M cap number? No news at all?

Reese was at Alabama's pro day. Could be Landon Collins at 9. Eskridge, who roc mentioned i've had in my mocks. I like Damarious Randall from Arizona St whose probably 3rd rounder

I did some reading earlier and I think we take Randall in the 3rd.

There's this...

"@dpbrugler: Randall also has visits set up at the team facilities of the #Browns, #Eagles, #Vikings and #Giants. Busy next few weeks. My No. 3 safety"

Dan Graziano ‏@DanGrazianoESPN 19m19 minutes ago

Just realized I could replace "safety" with "tight end" in almost Giants fan tweet and it'd be last year all over again.

You think that's good... we signed scrub LB, RT, and RB so far, and a return guy. We also resigned Herzlich.

One could probably directly copy and paste those tweets from last year.
