Angels over Sox (Sox pitching is suspect in a short series. Angels should make quick work of them.) Rockies over Philly's (This is based on two things: The Rockies have a shitload of momentum and I get that eary feeling like they are that team that everyone writes off only to roll through) Cubs over D-Rays (No particular reason, I just think it's the Cubbies year for the pennant) Cubs over Rockies (See above) AL over Cubs (please, too much fire power in the Al and nobody really has a dominant pitching staff) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think Clemens will rise to the occasion though. Phills over Rockies - Momentum? Who has more than the Phils right now? Zona over Cubbies - Somehow, they just get it done, plus its the cubs in the playoffs, and Bartman just got his Tix from ticketmaster, and he's bringing a goat AND a black cat to the game with him. Tribe over Angels - Angels just don't have the bats to get all the way Phils over Zona - no real reason, just that i think the Phils are riding high and are gonna carry it right to the WS Phils over Tribe - Philly has played with a chip all year, combine that with some talent, and you have the Champs. With that being said here are the guranteed predictions for the 2007 playoffs Yanks over the Tribe in 3- 33% become 40% by Monday Red Sox over the Angels in 4- Some reason the Sox have their number Yanks over the Red Sox in 7- is there any other way this can play out? The Yanks will fall behind 3 games to 0 and scratch out a win vs Papelbon in game 4, ride the arm of Wang in game 5, Clemens will play with a bloody pant leg due to a sutured groin muscle in game 6 and Johnny Damon will hit a grand slam in game 7 at Fenway to seal the Sox fate. Phils over Rockies in 5- total combined scre of series Phillies 61-Rockies 55 Cubs over Dbacks in 4- boooooring, but Zambrano is too strong Phils over Cubs in 7- sound good I guess. Yanks over Phils in 5 as Arod hits 12 homers in 5 games and the Yanks score more runs in the 3 games at Citizens Bank Bandbox then any other team has ever scored in a 3 game span in the WS. ARod wins the WS MVP and declares he owes it to his family(and girlfriend) to opt out, but he would love to remain a Yankee(for 30 mil/year of course). Joe Torre cries, Brian Cashman thanks all the little people, Jeter say he wants to get right back at it again for 2008, Steinbrenner talks about warriors and gamers and Suzyn Waldman spooges on her microphone when she interviews game 5 starter and winner Roger Clemens as the "most amazing thing she ever saw".
