Graham and amari Cooper had two of the most blatant push offs I've ever seen on td catches this week and weren't called. Then there's giving Carr 45 chances at a td at the end of that game too. I don't want to assume, but I can understand why so many of us think those little dump offs are the primary read on the play. If they were, and that was the play call in that spot, late in the game, playing from behind, that's just horrible coaching. Darkwa came back to earth and this is what I expect from him every sunday. He will run hard but not much else. Horrible to watch the next best weapon on the team running three yard crossing routes. Any vertical route and Engram will be bracketed, guarantee it. There was one play that might have had an option to go up the seam, but Engram broke it off into about a ten yard out route and sat down between two zone defenders. He was supposed to be a weak blocker and I don't think he's ever going to shut down a DE one-on-one, but he does pretty well with linebackers and DBs, at least from a "stalemate" perspective.
