Yeah, the article is really good.

I loved the Abominable Throwman too .....especially when he came in and moved the pile on a few of those 3rd and 1s ........its a shame we didn't see more of him

The dude had better footwork and could hit a hole harder than Brandon Jacobs.

I haven't read the article, but I have a hard time feeling bad for a guy that had a spot on an NFL roster but was too undisciplined to not eat like he had a hole in his neck.

The article isn't about feeling sorry for him.

I sincerely think that was just out his control... some people are just meant to be fat.. and the way I see it, he played really well.. fat or not.

You didn't think so?

I got the whole... "oh... it wasn't his fault, his DAD made him eat like that! Now look... he's getting divorced, OF COURSE he's going to eat more! And look... you can't just quit food addiction cold turkey, you HAVE to eat!" vibe from the whole thing. Like, "whoa is me, the world isn't fair, so I'm just going to keep (literally) feeding the thing that's ruined my life... its not my fault." Maybe I'm getting the wrong vibe from the whole thing but whether you're strung out on junk or Little Debbies, I just don't have sympathy for those kinds of people.

The article sure didn't sound that way. He comes right out and says after each weigh-in the first thing he'd do is pig out. People with thyroid issues? I feel bad for those people. Guys that don't have the willpower to put the Twinkies down... sorry, not buying it. I don't have any animosity for heavy people... you look the way you wanna look... but don't come at me with the whole "woe is me" bullshit routine either.

we all have our demons, seph. food is an addiction, just like drugs. if you look at how much he gave up, you'd see what a hold it has on him.
