I do.  But now with the entire O-line on IR they’re starting flowers and omameh.  Weird how the offense fell off a cliff after that happened.

Yeah shame Bortles cant blame his play on the Oline, or how the Oline held the core of that defence together

Yes despite his and the offenses numbers drastically changing as soon as the o-line went down, theres zero link between an o-line and an offenses performance. Good take, very hot, would read again

The defense has no excuse. Theyre an undisciplined bunch of assholes who thought itd be easy this year because they were good last year. That falls on marrone

I don't know what happened to them last night but the D was #3 rated in the league before then. Agree that penalties and discipline has been their downfall.

Local talk is that they are done with Bortles. Might be done with 4net too. Depends whether they chalk this whole season up to injuries or decide on a partial rebuild. Their draft picks have not flourished under Coughlin and he's getting some heat for that.

That colts game was insane. I think they had two 3rd down personal fouls on the colts game winning drive.

Hackett got a raw deal. That offense had been humming before the o-line and their top 3 tight ends got hurt. Kessler looked like a joke last night in the red zone. Fournette sucks, if he gets a hole hes fine but thats the case with every rb in the league. 0 vision, bad attitude, and too many leg muscle injuries. He wont last long in the league. Horrible pick and if that was a coughlin pick he should be criticized for it.

The takes on this team come down to whether you actually watch games or not. Lazy media writers and casual surface level fans will just point to Bortles and stop their analysis there. Anyone who actually watches the games and knows what theyre seeing will see the majority of his interceptions are drops and tips and that their o-line is now starting guys who arent good enough for the giants o-line. The big wins he has are not accidents.

So why was he benched then?

Hot take, even with the excuse of an injured Oline, an injured Fournette and even an OC being thrown under the bus buy the HC, Bortles is still benched.

Odd.

Maybe they don't want to put their best players on the field to help them win games, because you know losing is the objective of all teams in the NFL.

From history, it looks like Bortles works well with a good Offensive Line. To his credit he doesn't need star receivers, at least hes never had them. This season proves that he cant play well without an OL or receivers or a running game. So hes similar to most QBs.. He may lose his starting job but I think he will start again in the NFL...

Blake Bortles isn't really a football name, certainly not a QB name.   Sounds more like the fat guy at the lunch counter with a pocket protector and uncombed hair... "Hey guys, there's Blake Bortles from IT.  Maybe he can look at my laptop."
