So unfortunately, can't watch many games with them being in the Championship. Be IN Sports shows a game or two a week here but all I can really do is change my VPN and subscribe to Sky Go and watch that way. They are on next week and the following week. That's would I get for picking a crap team. Last week had to listen on a radio app on my phone lol.

I think that the 3 teams that got promoted will all go back down. Just not good at all.
Rooney needs to go. My honest feelings right now is that with Welbeck, Van Persie and Chicarito, that all 3 are good enough to rotate, mix in Kagawa and honestly Jesse Lingard and Januzjai are going to be squad guys this year, I say sell him to fuckng Chelsea, he's going to have to battle with Torres and guys like Lampard and Hazard and Mata for goals. Good luck with that Wayne. I say sell him, and then throw the fucking bank at Bayern for Schweinsteiger, who may be surplus now, and then go put a down payment on Michael Strootman and let him play the year in Holland and bring him in next year.
Uk, I don't think Liverpool got any closer this year than last. I don't get spending on Mignolet, begovic was a better option, hell even marcus Steklenberg went to Fulham. However, they'll end up passing out Arsenal, talk about taking a step back, villa beat their ass yesterday.
It's Utd/Chelsea/City and Spurs in a 4 horse race and honestly, if Spurs keep Bale, then I don't see how they are not a serious threat. A bit weak at center back yes, however they made some real nice signings this summer.
Damn you UK, I saw this thread and was like "must write a lot of shit"!

with Mittal's money .......QPR will likely be a top 6 Premiership side within 5 years ...........good team to follow over the next few years ( with a great history )
I agree they have a boat load of money, with Mittal and Fernandes but they don't make crap from the ground. I think the need to build a new one if they want to survive up in the premier. They have a plan to build a world class training ground so that is a start. What they cannot do is follow Coventry and pay rent on the grounds instead of owning it. They are done if that happens.

If Spurs manage to keep Bale, they are going to be right up there in the end. Yeah they made some really good singings this summer, best out of all the top 4-5 in my opinion. Not sure what happens if they lose Bale though. This bunch of teams that were promoted are all going to go back down. Palace is worse than last year.

QPR I think comes straight back up with Harry, Wigan I think comes up also, and my outside pick is Notts Forest.

They have some holes but there is enough time to plug them with under two weeks left. I think they have a top 6 squad right now. I agree with Forest, kind of annoyed that QPR let Jamie Mackie go to them.

QPR just got Richard Dunne from Villa and at his age he's perfect for them in the championship, he'll help their defense a lot. James Mackie fell off some, I wouldn't be too bothered about that loss, but they just picked up Scott Parker and he'll do the job for them like Kevin Nolan does for West Ham. They should have enough to get out and like I said, Redknapp will manage them out of there.
I also think over the season Wigan will be strong enough they have a lot of guys from last year and they might have improved the defense. However, they also have the Europa league to compete in.

Parker went to Fulham instead. That would have been a great signing but he wanted premiership football. I have to admit, I hope they keep Barton. He has been brilliant. That pass in the 90th minute on Saturday to win it, was amazing. They are looking at Peter Odemwingie again, lol. Zamora and Johnson are not going to cut it upfront with Charlie Austin all season. Once they get another good striker in, I think things will fold into place with them. It's early in the season but they have been pretty dominant in games but just cannot get the ball into the net.

Jesus .........you 2 guys are much better informed than I am about our National Game ..........huge respect to you both ! My top 5 in the premiership this season is as follows. Man City , Chelsea , Man Utd , Liverpool , Spurs .....what about yours ? ( first manager to go Pardew , second Wenger ! ) regards UK
It's only a matter time that Kinnear takes over at Newcastle. If it wasn't for those recently promoted teams, the Barcodes would be number one on my list to drop down. I pretty much follow the whole thing pretty religiously. I am a pup compared to you guys but it's a pretty obsessive sport to follow. I have a feeling the sport is really going to take off here, even with the growing popularity of the MLS. Also I have been playing Football Manager for a few years now lol. Is that your top five or that's the teams that will end the season in order? I will go with Chelski, Citeh, ManUre, Spuds and then Liverpool. Sorry to disappoint, I have to much respect for Liverpool to make fun of them. Spurs are making more moves with Willian and Eric Lamela, I guess preparing themselves with the departure of Bale.

Yeah, I heard that shit on Monday night club this morning, Jol stepped in last minute and grabbed Parker. Parker is right to want to stay up. Sorry I jumped the gun there.

UK, I pay more attention to soccer now in my older years than I used to. Honestly, I had 3 games running in my basement on Saturday morning. NBC has bought the rights to the Premier League over here and they are promoting the shit out of it. every game at 3pm your time, was on the tv here and it's supposed to be that way all year. Frankly I'm stoked. However, like JR, you can't get shit from the championship.
That said, the best soccer being played right now may well be in the Bundesliga. Munich and Dortmund have really set the standard and that was a great champs league final. I've started watching some of the games recently, it's well worth the watch. La Liga has gone back and frankly Serie a is fucking crap.
I still think we will win the league, I think from a depth perspective we're better and I think the young players will be a big plus this year. But I think Chelsea, City and Spurs can go any way for the Champs League spots, and honestly, I think Everton gets 5th.

I agree with you about Newcastle, I think Pardew will go around Christmas. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Hughes at Stoke either.
Arsenal should never get rid of Wenger, but the problem with Arsenal now is that they are not considered a big team right now. If you look at what he's done, he brings in the young lads and grooms them and these guys become damn good players, but they lack quality balance to those players.and what ends up happening is that wenger can't get enough quality veterans to surround these guys. Santi Cazorla was a nice pickup, but if Barcelona or Madrid had a hole to fill in midfield this time last year, then Cazorla would never have gone to Arsenal. If they could bring in just one or two stars, it would be a huge difference.

If I get lucky, maybe Be IN Sports might carry Rangers. All I can really do is buy a VPN, use an IP address out of the UK and also buy a subscription to Sky Go and watch it through my computer that is hooked up to my TV. They are on Sky the next two weeks, against Bolton and Leeds I think so I have been thinking of doing that. What is nice is that NBC sports is steaming all games free through the computer or an app. It is much better than Fox's coverage last year which cost $15 a month for the premier. I just cannot get into La Liga where two teams dominate. It's like watching the MLB All-Star.

Can you guys get BBCiplayer over in the US ? http://www.bbc.co.uk...arch?q=football There is a weekly highlights show of Championship games called 'The Football League Show' . I agree that the Bundesliga is great to watch at the moment. Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund is some character isn't he !. With regards to the Prem. I think City under Pelligrini will win it , with Chelsea under Mourinho a close second. I just think they might have too much for Moyes in his first season at Old Trafford. My prediction of Liverpool in 4th is more hope than expectation ...and I think when Spurs lose Bale they will go backwards. As for Everton .....I hope they crumble into the river Mersey !
Nope, cannot watch it in the US, need a VPN or a proxy. I think it's going to be close between City and Chelsea. I'm going with the opposite, I like Chelsea to win it. I am not sure about the Toffees, I like Roberto Martinez but if Moyes is able to steal Baines and that Carlos Valderrama wannabe, then then they might be a mid table team. I see Rodgers is going hard for Derby's Will Hughes. I guess Derby wants £6m for him. That's a steal in my opinion. Someone with that kind of talent, I would think someone like him would go for three times that. That would be silly to give him away for that though.

Always enjoy the Football League show when I'm back in Ireland. Cause good free tv is hard to find amongst the shite.

JR, this is my home for free streams. Bolton and QPR is supposed to be showing on Saturday.
http://www.wiziwig.t...040&part=sports
They are tape delayed by two hours on BeIN sports 9:30am on Saturday morning which is great! Thank god I don't have to wake up at 7:30 and wake up my girlfriend screaming at the computer. Now I can scream at the tube 2 hours later lol. Maybe the following week will be the same also.
Here is a few others I know of besides wiziwig. I did follow a steam a few weeks back against Huddersfield but it was horrible. To be honest, I rather pay for a quality steam.
