QBs win games in the NFL, without a good one you're not going to win, unless you have a defence that makes NFL history (in the case of Dilfer)

Look at the last 30 SBs and almost every single one has a QB who was drafted in the first round on one side of the ball, if not both.

You can't win in the modern era of pass happy football with an "average" QB like lets say Matt Hassleback, you basically need other areas of the team to carry him, either the running game or the defence.

It's much easier to hit on one player QB and keep him, then it is to try to build a top 5 running attack or top 5 defence when you need to hit on 10 other guys and try to keep them all.

It's the norm of the NFL, and it's not going to change unless you start seeing teams with 7th round "average" QBs make it to the SB and win.

The way you should look at it is look how much Tom Brady makes... that factors in how they can sign other talent around him... now contrast that with Wilson and Rodgers... with their stupid one ring each. Shit even the Giants we wont with defense... Shit you seriously looked at the last 30 SBs? Last I checked the QB from Buffalo was better than the QB fro Dallas... Dallas had a running game from hell for that ugly fuck to run...

Now my thing is.. .go get your star QB... but draft him... now you tell me if you were running the Seahawsk, who can you sign now to do a damn thing for him?

You can't compare any team to the Pats. There's only one Belicheck.

Seattle is and Green Bay was perennial playoff contenders.

before the huge pay raises or after? Green Bay fell off partly because they can't attract talent... and now Seattle is heading in the same direction. Look I'm not saying don't pay QBs... just don't overpay... a 53 man roster average a B is much more powerful than one with a couple of As and a ton of Ds...

Both first round QBs, and it's not hard to find past SB winning QBs and what round they were drafted in, google is a hell of a thing, it's the 21st century.

You can't use Brady as the rule, the Pats don't pay players period, they never have and they never will under Kraft.

Put Brady on any other team and he's probably hauling in 40+ million a season easy.

So you go draft your rookie QB, and hope he can develop into a start QB within four years and win a SB title before you have to pay him, lets see how well that's worked out in NFL history.

Only once with the Steelers with Rapistburger in his second year of football, and they had the best defence in football that year, oh and their running game was top 10 as well.

I'd like to know where these B teams are, and how they are assigned such letter grades.

Prior to the drama Green Bay made it to the playoffs what was it 8 years in a row?

Seattle has been falling apart after the SB and none of it had to due with cap number, go check out the moves the GM made lol or their Oline ranking the last five years, or their starting WRs, the GM felt these didnt need to be addressed.

Yes I do think you're brilliant. Rodgers is pretty much the best QB in the league...but it takes a village...

New England doesn't have but one super star... and the one doesn't take up a whole lot of cap space...

Lol what?

Hightower has been to the pro bowl the past five years.

Their starting corner is one of the best in the NFL.

They have two Oline players who are top in the NFL.

The fuck people think the Patriots are getting there was 7th round cast offs lol
