Storm Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Why was he released? To pave the way for some younger playser, they figure they could get the same kind of production from them. The Titans are rebuilding and have some depth there....but the Giants certainly don't. Phillips could have came in and been a good situational pass rusher for us at defensive end or linebacker.
