I'd go for the younger/cheaper of the two.

 

With KOs at the 35, both put it through the endzone. McManus might have the edge in FG beyond 45 yards. And that's about it. So because they're as close as they are, cheaper/younger wins in my book.

I'd rather have the experienced guy. When it's crunch time. 3 seconds left in a game down by 1 and need a 40+ yard FG to win the game. I would feel better with a guy that has been there done that over a young guy. That is of course if they are about equal in kicking talent.

Let's not forget about the Matt Dodge experiment on a young kicker with a big leg.
