It doesn't help just when he gets the ball, there is already someone in his face.

That's what I'm saying.

He gets stopped constantly at the line, or theres busted blocking.

Every single yard on the ground is earned for him.

I mean look at McCaffrey who all throughout the game the annoucers were saying "Hurr durr he's the bestest runner in the NFL cause he can catch" he has 17 carries and 58 yards.

But he had a "good game" Barkley is "just average" to some people.

As for the line, Will Hernandez is already the best player on the line. Not much of an achievement but considering he's played 5 games I think we have a guy who can be solid the next 4-5 years. Solder has done very little. The rest, heaven help us. The Flowers draft has set us back so far it's ridiculous.

Barkley is such a talent, if he ever gets any help the league is in trouble. I'm so glad we drafted both these guys.

I was Hernys biggest crittic this off season, I know he's a rookie, I just seen a guy who wasnt ready to start.

Glad I don't coach in the NFL.

Like you said easily the best player on the Oline, and he's just going to get better.

One or two more guys like that and suddenly Barkley is laughing running through some semblance of a hole.

I'm sorry, from the thread title, I thought it was going to be about giving Kiefer Sutherland an extra "24" hours.

That show would have jumped the shark at 3pm on Tuesday.

Assuming the whole show started at Midnight on Monday.

Well I assume that's when it started.

I read somewhere that Barkley has something like 1.6 yards before first contact. It's worst in the league.

Next year, we need to go QB, then interior lineman in the draft, and pick up at least one quality free agent on the line.

Thats the plan... this team better not fuck it up by winning meaningless games.... Ive already booked this season as a rebuilding year....

i know this sounds totally ridiculous but 9-7 wins the NFC East ............and i could actually see this team going 8-3 from here with a bit of O Line improvement. We have a lot of talent. Saquon is the best rookie i have seen in years. Thanks DG

This season is not a rebuilding year. And neither is next year. The bulk of this team is set up for the next few years. They need to keep having drafts like these last 2 and they will get better.

They wont, though. Not with a scheme built around Eli Mannings weaknesses. Which has been the case since Coughlins final year.

what about this scheme is built around Eli's weaknesses?

And are you saying that the insurmountable issue isn't actually Eli's weaknesses, but the scheme?

...and he's still 100+ scrimmage yards in EVERY game so far.

And we lost this game on a 63 fucking yard field goal. The sky hasn't fallen yet.

Oh I'm so relived this isnt a "We wasted a pick on Barkley he isnt worth it" etc etc post I see all over the other sites.

People are really saying that???

I must be honest I was one of the few who was concerned about the pick but I knew I was dead wrong after one game.

He is the realest of the real. Hes crazy good.

Explain how that scheme won 11 games 2 years ago?. That comment doesn't make a lot of sense.

I mean you watched our season last year correct?. You blame that on schemes also, you know, guys falling down injured every game and playing with the entire practice squad out there.
