The guy was a star for Army years ago, but has been in the military for the last 4 years doing three stints in Afghanistan. For that reason, I give the Eagles credit for giving a soldier a shot at the big time. I don't know how fast he is, but at 277 lbs I don't think he's a speed demon, but he is a mismatch for anyone and should be able to hold his own blocking. They should turn him into a linebacker, have him stand three feet behind the defensive line, bat down or catch everything in front of the QB.
