I think they should go with the called play in the huddle sometimes regardless of the defensive look he is given. The minute he sees a safety or LB shift he calling an audible. Let the center call some of those protection shifts and I think they would be better off. I think now opposing teams are just going to constantly keep shifting guys on him until he recognizes it. Â That's exactly right. If you dissect Manning's play you can see his performance drops with the more Wr's he has on the field. His best play comes with just 2 wr's (in other words, the playaction) Â But they mentioned before the game that Eli is tied in wins/losses with Peyton at this point in their careers. believe it or not.
