It's a shame, but at 32 years old, and man of his size, he didn't have many years left anyway. Interestingly, he ends his career with 319 career home runs, the exact same as his father Cecil. One of my favorite players to watch long before he was a Ranger, especially in home run derby. Hopefully the rest of his contract is insured.
