RG3 hurt again

It wasn't their oline. It was him not sensing any pressure. He would look off his first read and then drop his head and try to run. The oline was fine when Cousins and McCoy came in

I see someone is a 'Skins fan.

McCoy and Cousins both felt pressure all night long, Cousins just isnt gun shy as much as Bobert Number 3.

I mean by the time McCoy came it, it was an entirely different Oline and Cousins ran with the number twos, cant really compare their starting experience when neither of them played with the same Oline or against the same defense.

But hey this is the same board that produces that "quality" football discussion in the Giant's section lol

Yeah, it's more about the Detroit 1's defense overwhelming the Washington 1's O-line. They also had some effective blitzing, too. There were some plays where he was simply hit almost immediately... and Scherff got dominated by Ezekiel Ansah on one sack.

Never said I was a Skins fan. Also, Gruden did run the ball with the other two QB's in there and that helped. I swear he was trying to sabotage RG3.

  • 2 weeks later...

Patrick Ramsey had talent but no talent around him. Shit-end of the stick for that dude. Same with Jason Campbell.

And someone affiliated with the Redskins (Gruden, perhaps?) has definitely pulled some strings to screw Bobby Griffin over. Not that he is very good, I said that from the beginning when he couldn't make NFL-caliber throws from the pocket. But 90% of the blame has to be placed on Gruden and company for not knowing how to develop and use him to get away from that mobile style that got him demolished...the other 10% on Griffin for not knowing when enough is enough when he's running the ball.

Unrelated, how good is Nassib at sensing pressure, escaping, and then SLIDING before he gets taken out? A. Very good or B. Extremely good?

Something to think about when you start wanting to get rid of Eli:

Yeah you take a look at that and say, "well, that's just the Skins." But think about it... how many years did it take the Dolphins to replace Marino? Elway in Denver? Speaking of Brunell, Jacksonville still hasn't replaced him.

Eli might not set the world on fire but he's a good, competent NFL quarterback who's already proven he can win the Big Game. I'll take him over Brian Greise and Jay Fiedler any day.... there aren't a whole lot of Aaron Rodgers' and Steve Youngs out there.
