Yeah, I have to believe it'd be for Wentz...seems like a lot to give up, but then again...

Rams pick first in the 1st, 4th, and 6th rounds now this year...but lost both second rounders this year, third rounder this year, first rounder next year, and 3rd rounder next year. So basically, that's the cost to move up not just in the first round, but in the 1st, 4th, AND 6th this year.

Titans, well, they now have a shitload of picks this year and next. They're sitting at 15 now and I wouldn't put it past them to use one of those 2nd rounders this year to trade back up to get one of the top 3 OTs.

I don't think Wentz is worth it...and I think that they could've traded up to get Goff and not been all that worse off than with Wentz. But, once the #1 was for sale, some QB hungry team was going to move into it because it's a foregone conclusion that Cleveland was going to take the other one.

I really think that the Rams could've stayed put and gotten Cook at 15...waited until the 2nd or maybe 3rd to get a guy like Lynch or Hackenburg. I don't think that any of the QBs in the draft this year are day 1 starter-ready. That's not to say they won't start...I just don't think they're ready out of the gate like you'd want your #1 overall to be.

And all along, I've been banking on 2 QBs to go in the top 7. I think the only thing that changes is that 2 QBs could now go in the top 2. Depends on what Cleveland thinks of Goff.

So do the Giants though...so if that's the position, Conklin and Stanley both better be there at 10...

I guess I'm just saying that trading down is to be done only in times where you're still able to accomplish your original goal...so if the Giants are looking to snag a guy for the right side of the offensive line...then they need to make damn sure they can still do so after trading down. If we can fit our agenda in while accumulating picks...great. If we can't accomplish what we set out for, then the additional picks lose value in my mind...because you sacrificed your original plan...
