Come on Mike/Rangers

The last thing we need to do is trade away our most popular "franchise" players with the new ownership. Being a dh in the prime of your career has to suck, I get that, but you have a ligit chance of winning in Texas. Plus, Kinsler has yet to stay healthy an entire season, so you can count on playing at least a month at 2nd, and as much as I like Moreland, he isn't a lock at first, so you could very well end up getting significant time there.

And Texas, why the fuck are you trying talking to Manny and Thome? Yeah it would be nice to have another big bat but Bourbon, Elvis, Young, Josh, Beltre, Kinsler, Moreland etc is a pretty solid lineup. If you're that desperate to spend money you should have thrown the house at Lee or got more pitching.

Seems like the Rangers go out of their way to get rid of their most popular plays. Sierra, Gonzalez, Palmeiro, and there are a lot more.

Well, obviously losing Lee any team is taking a step back, but I'm not overly concerned. If Hunter can build on what he was doing last year and Webb comes back and finds his stride quickly I'm confident in our pitching staff.

yeah i hadn't read about michael young so I had no idea what you were talking about. Let him go, his skills are diminishing anyway. Better too soon than too late.

Yeah this is the second time in recent memory that he has demanded a trade. I get that he wants to play SS and reluctantly moved to 3rd and doesn't want to move to DH, but he's making good damn money for his bating average and leadership, not like he can't be replaced, Josh is becoming the leader in the clubhouse and a 300-315 batting average isn't hard to find. But the only problem is with his contract we'll never get equal value at another position or a good crop of prospects.

Thats actually quite interesting. But Young has a no trade clause limited to 8 teams. Dodgers, Angels, Yankees, Rockies, Twins,,,can't think of the other three, maybe Atlanta. My gut tells me he'll be with us, at least until the trade deadline and we'll trade him then for pitching help in the streth.
