Status of the Sportswrath.com Mock Draft

Money

Recommended Posts

Last night I became discouraged by the growing frequency of missed picks by GMs, and I impulsively declared that the mock draft would end after 2 rounds. Upon some reflection, I think that was a rash decision and indicative of poor judgment. Thus, I decided to attempt a 3rd round, however, a small break (because of the holiday weekend) is in order. Listed below is the complete 2-round mock draft, as well as the revised schedule for the 3rd round.

The FAB 4 admires your spunk and courage upon returning to the draft, but we have no option but to dominate any and all that dare to draft against us! We also would like our table moved to the center and up front, with proper lighting.

Currency must apologize for his absence during the second round pick. It was at the time known to Currency that this draft was only 1 round.

Currency is embarrassed and humiliated as it was made clear in many threads that the draft was more then 1 round.

Jason Currency sincerely apologizing for his biblical mistake and is in the mercy of the Elite Status committee.

and you can disregard my list Money...I will be present

Yes, PM EST. By the way, you deserve credit as well for PMing your picks in several weeks advance.

Also, to those who missed picks, I just wanted to say that I don't harbor any resentment or disappointment. I fully understand that a message board mock draft ranks low on the priority list, and I realize that certain obligations take precedence.

Im glad you want to continue the mock. I think we all can understand you must have been aggravated and frustrated with the lack of participation. In the other thread I made a post on what I thought would be a good way to continue this. I personally like the time slots much better this year then last. I think no matter what the decision is we should make it a must for all the participating GMs to send a prospect value list. No exceptions even if they say they will be here. We all know things can come up at the last minute or we could have problems with say the internet... regardless everyone should have a list of prospects submitted to you or one of the assistants.

I'm in for a 4th round. I pick at the top of the 3rd and there are easily 3-4 players that I simply can't make up my mind on. Although given how good I'm doing at this I understand if the rest of you want to stop after 3 rounds ;)

I got the exact players that I expect to be able to come in and start for the Jags (who are weak in the secondary and at linebacker)...Bobby Carpenter and Danieal Manning, two players I think the Giants should look at...
