INT, INT, Punt, punt punt, punt, punt, INT, punt, punt

Yeah, who knows what Ben McAdoo and Eli Manning were doing all game. Coughlin needs to go. There's no reason for his team to come out as flat and lifeless as that. That was pathetically embarrassing. It reaches a point where your coaching gets stale and tired...Coughlin reached that point last year. It's time for him to step down. It's time to give guys like Beckham and Eli a fresh start.

Oh, and Odell Beckham should have had 10 more targets, there's no reason for him to go a series without seeing the ball. There's no reason for him not to get a play designed to specifically go to him in the red zone.

Why is the team passing up 56 yard field goals with Josh Brown, who hasn't missed? Why is Eli constantly forcing passes into double coverage?

You come off a bye, against a division opponent, with a chance to lock up the division after seeing the Eagles get humiliated. And that is how you come out. Coaching didn't do its job getting them ready. The Redskins aren't that good, they lost by like 30 last week. No way should we have been manhandled like that given all other factors. Definitely time for a coaching change.

It was an embarrassment for all Giants fans.

After two years of Eli in the "hurry up offense", he sits there like he's checking out a girl in the stands while the front line is bent over for 15 seconds while the clock runs out and he doesn't even know it......duhhh. Eli used to do that years ago, and snap it when it said 1 second or even 0 seconds.....and if he couldn't get it off, he'd snap his hands up for a timeout at the last moment if he couldn't get the play off. This one caught him completely off guard like his head was a million miles away. No time out, no late snap, no anything....just a dumb look on his face when the flag is thrown for delay of game.......and this in the fast paced, all new, hurry up offense instilled by McAdoo. Just pathetic.

They need Darkwa as the feature back

They need to throw at Odell a lot more

They need to incorporate Vereen in every play...even if nothing more than a decoy.

But most of all, I'm disappointed in Eli for his game management. He seemed completely out to lunch today as thought the game was secondary on his mind. :puke:

They spent the entire first half on a pass play to beckham that was not there.

Receivers not only dropping passes but the vintage "volleyball interception" play...twice.

This game was a fucking miscarriage from the opening drive, and they didn't pull their heads out of their asses until the game was out of hand.

This is a bad team, assembled by a GM that has been riding Ernies coat tails since 2007....coached by a guy that should retire after the season is over so he doesn't damage his career any further.

2 Volleyball interceptions??? They were not Eli's fault. The second was a beautiful lob that albeit was slightly tipped into Harris that was a super Volley spike catch!!! Anyway - pathetic game overall. But the Giants don't like to lock the division early etc etc and all that nonsense that keeps Giants fans in good health. This was expected that it will go down the wire. Now suddenly they'll start pulling off some crazy shit to win the division with their backs to the wall and their assholes peeping out through a hole in the dyke! and then win it anyway. Fuck it.

Eli has been taking a bit of a pounding. The guy is tough as nails I know - but not too good to watch. The Skins just took a page out of the Eagles book when our entire OL was down and we had rookie in the trenches. To be able to keep this game competitive itself was enough. Im sure Mikmak and the Skins did have their balls in their mouth at one point. We guys had our balls hanging out and fondling it way earlier than that :)

Our OL, not exactly a strong point to begin with, loses Richburg, Pugh and Schwartz, leaving us with John Jerry at one Guard (wait, it gets worse!), Dallas Reynolds at Center and someone named Bobby Hart at the other Guard spot. Not to worry though, because we still had Marshall Newhouse at RT.

At TE, I know Larry Donnell is not highly regarded around here, so where does it leave us if the guys behind him on the depth chart - Stoney Brook's Will Tye and the pride of Southern Connecticut State, Jerome Cunningham - are now getting all the snaps?

Defensively, we lose DRC for a series or two, and (of course) Hosley gets beat for a bomb. At Safety, we have a rookie, who's still trying to figure things out in Collins and two guys off the waiver wire - Dahl and Merriweather. We've already beaten the lack of talent at LB to death and the lack of pass rush by our DL is also old news.

So what do you have? This roster is/was threadbare, with just enough good pieces to be decent if all went well (Eli, Odell, two good corners, if healthy). Lose as many parts as we have and did yesterday and we simply have too many guys being counted on for way too many snaps than their talent level can handle.

It's easy (and oh so predictable) to scream about coaching after every loss but those are people inside those uniforms and some are better players than others.

Look at it this way, you'll always have me to talk to

I shut it off at the end of the 3rd qtr, what a fucking waste of time!

Look on the bright side...we're deadly accurate at shooting/killing opportunity...that's gotta count for something, right?

Seriously, I don't know that I've ever seen a team be offered a playoff birth due to outside circumstances and that team say, "thanks, but no thanks" like this season's Giants have. Given the state of the division, we had every opportunity to run away with it. Instead, we lose 4 games in the last few minutes. We even score 7 TDs in a losing effort in one game. We come out of the bye and lay a giant egg when we could've gone a long, long way to locking up the division. The Giants players who were saying that the Redskins wanted it more...were absolutely correct. This team didn't play like it gave a crap. This is the type of team that might back into the playoffs, but offers zero confidence that they'll do anything once they're in. This is the type of loss that lingers. It is THE game that shows what kind of team this is.

The Giants have lacked a killer instinct ALL season, outright REFUSING to put games away when they were there for the taking.

And perhaps the worst of it, if by some chance we do win the division, we're not even looking at a good draft spot. We're in that mediocre range where you rarely find the OBJ's of the world. I'm not ready to root for losses yet because as a fan, I REFUSE to do that until we're mathematically eliminated, but this loss to the Redskins just pushed a whole shitload of fans in that direction because they now know what kind of team we're trotting out there every week.

If we win the division at 7-9, that catapults us into the top 12 teams. If we go 7-9 and don't win the division, that drops us into the bottom 12 teams I'd think.

I think I'll give them the Jets game this weekend. If they lose that one, I'm all for losing the rest of the way.

Half the oline never made the trip. The starting TE (such as he is) never made the trip. A third linemen left the game.

What did you guys think was going to happen? Every time some cohesiveness starts to form, someone is out for a few games. And you can't expect the same results by replacing Richburg with Dallas Reynolds.

Add to this that we always seem flat after the bye, if you couldn't see this as a loss, I don't know what to tell you.
