How can the Eagles be given better odds today after the Giants win it all!

Fuck that...how can the Patriots have better odds now that the Giants beat them both in the regular season AND in the motherfucking Super Bowl AND, since apparently all talking heads think it appropriate to mention, in the motherfucking Super Bowl 4 years ago.

I always put a few dollars.. on these crazy bets...like

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 100-1

Washington Redskins 125-1

Jacksonville Jaguars 150-1

then i would put 10 to 20bucks on Giants to win it all.. i always do this each year....

sucks they don't have the Giants 40-1 like back in 2007 LOL

screw it.. i love it when we always don't get the respect that we deserves...

I should run to the casino and drop $100 on the Jags.

Did anyone put money on the GMen this year? Herc? Didn't you drop cash on them at the start of the playoffs while they were still 22-1?

yeah i did 75 at 22:1 and 25 at 24:1 a couple of days later right before the first round started

It is hard to repeat so it does make a lot of sense. I am a big Giant fan but the odds of the Giants repeating is very minimal.

It depends on what we do in the offseason.. we're a pretty solid team and with a couple of additions, we maybe a force for a long time. We still need a dominant MLB and T2 coming back hopefully 100% should improve our D. Fewel is improving... and we have the coolest QB under pressuer there is.

i didn't hedge. if it were any other team i would've but i refuse to place a bet against the giants even just to hedge the 100 i put up. i'd rather lose it

you my friend, either have some major balls or deep pockets or both.... i'm unemployed and i couldn't afford to lost 100.. so i hegde a little..

if the Giants start out another one of those up and down seasons again.. i'm sure to put a nice Hundi on it again...

If only it were that easy. I would have been much more willing to bet a Giants SB last year than this year. The odds should really be 100-1. It is damn near impossible to repeat.

They must be thinking the dream is going to come true this year? What happens if jackson doesn't resign?

I'd be insulted if I was.a texans, lions ,niners or saints fan to see the steelers and eagles ahead of them. The steelers?. Seriously I think that team is on the way down.

Correlation does not equal causality as you damn well no LW.

While it may be statistically unlikely for a team to win 2 SB's in a row there is no path dependency. Having won this year does not have any more effect on next year than a prior coin flip has on a subsequent coin flip.

As for why the odds are where they are? It is a parimutuel system. Simply a function of where the money is bet. Nothing more, nothing less.

Last year, I wouldn't have thought that we'd have a chance at winning it, but we did. That said, our schedule next year is just as tough as it was this year.

6 division games that can always go either way.

New Orleans - has had our number recently, a playoff team

Pittsburgh - on a decline, but no walk in the park, a playoff team

Green Bay - surely will be looking for revenge, a playoff team

Atlanta - surely will be looking for revenge, a playoff team

Baltimore - a playoff team, good defense

Cincinatti - on the rise

San Francisco - a good defense, a playoff team.

We do get Cleveland, Carolina, Tampa Bay though, but then again, they could rise up the same as Seattle did this past season.

After looking thru some info and stats... i am seirously thinking of putting some action.. like on these two teams..

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 100-1

Washington Redskins 125-1

TB got a great set of offesnive weapons in their QB, RB, WR.... need more info regarding the defense.. if they make it, i'll be hedging it thru out the playoff, it would be the best way to make money..

Skins, seriously, if they make get a QB and a WR .. i think this team is set...

what you guys think? as far as long shots go?? by that i mean, anything that's 40- & over.

True, true but with 8-1 odds it's just not good bet to me.
