Poor guy to have died so young and suddenly.  Heat stroke is something I'm sure we have all been close to at one point thinking we'll be ok and far from it.  On a Jerry Reese note; another offensive line bust.  Expectations were high because the need of a young future starter was becoming clear.

He was a 5th rounder. Outside of the reactionary thinking all the draft picks will be starters I dont think there were many expectations with him. At least how I remember it.

Yeah guy was a late round draft pick.

Don't know what "expectations" there were of him, other than he set the bench press record I think it was?

He was incredibly strong and filled in for either Seubert or Snee for a game and a half his rookie year and played really well.

Next season he was more interested in his band than in playing in the NFL, apparently showed up out of shape and was cut.
