JMFP
If a fucking maniac like LT were available in the draft, Reese would trade down to get away from him. Thank God Reese wasn't our GM back then.

NightFire
Reese drafts LBs, just not in the first round.
Dragon
Reese drafts LBs, just not in the first round. He doesn't value them prior to the 4th. That's the highest we've taken a pure LB under Reese (Leonard Floyd dreams not withstanding).
Tempest
Of all the picks he has made over the years the one that really stands out is Matt Dodge. "He is not the punter for us", and then he was gone. Any other position and he would have had a four year career on the bench.

To be fair since then, he hasnt been a punter for any other team as well. Guess it doesnt take long to determine if a kicker/punter will make it in the NFL. I just found it curious, we have a lower tolerance for bad special teams players than other positions. I don't blame him for us losing that game against Philly, that was a team effort and he was the nail in the coffin. Same goes for the playoff loss vs 49ers. Oh... the blame goes all around for both losses. There's no way in hell we should've blown either lead and put them in position to become famous for all the wrong reasons, but if Dodge follows directions and puts that ball anywhere other than in Desean Jackson's reach, we probably win the division and he probably still has a job. Same with Junkin. For as bad as our defense looked (especially Strahan after pointing at the scoreboard) all Junkin had to do was execute a long snap. He couldn't and it made the collapse that much worse.
NightFire
Well...Dodge had many control issue before that fateful punt. I doubt he would have made it past that season either way.
