Treehugger
An elite slot corner, pass-rusher or cover LB. Jalen Ramsey, Florida State, CB: Ramsey is a versatile defensive back with dynamic playmaking skills and instincts. He will make an immediate impact as a hybrid safety/corner/slot defender from Day 1. Vernon Hargreaves III, Florida, CB: Hargreaves is an undersized CB1 with a feisty demeanor and versatile cover skills. He's capable of playing on the outside, but his true value might be in his ability to lock down slot receivers as a pro. Joey Bosa, Ohio State, DE: Bosa is a relentless pass rusher with a non-stop motor and diverse skill set. Shaq Lawson, Clemson, DE: Lawson is a big, athletic edge defender with natural pass-rush skills. While he's not an explosive DPR, he could create chaos as a LDE in a 4-3 scheme. DeForest Buckner, Oregon, DE: Buckner is a long, rangy defensive end capable of playing on the edges in a 4-3 or as a five-technique in a 3-4 scheme. Buckner's athleticism and versatility could lead to a late surge up the charts when defensive coordinators take a closer look at his game during the pre-draft process. Jaylon Smith, Notre Dame, LB: Smith is an ultra-explosive linebacker with exceptional instincts, awareness and playmaking ability. He is a rare "sideline-to-sideline" menace with the speed and athleticism to stay on the field as a "three-down" linebacker. Myles Jack, UCLA, LB: Jack is an electric "sideline-to-sideline" player ideally suited to thrive as a weakside linebacker in today's pass-happy NFL. Jack is a tackling machine with an explosive combination of pass-rush and cover skills.
Sephiroth
Linebacker please, preferably in the middle. This team needs a defensive QB.
gmenroc
I think it's entirely possible those three DEs are gone in the first 9 picks. Jack and Smith are both exciting possibilities to me, but we need to be reminded they are LBers and the Giants have been LB-retarded for what, 20 years now? Nas
Linebacker please, preferably in the middle. This team needs a defensive QB. He's currently on the Redskins rosters but is a FA.
Bigblue25
Linebacker please, preferably in the middle. This team needs a defensive QB. Problem with Jack and Smith is Jack missed the nearly the entire year with an injury and Smith just got injured in Notre Dame's bowl game and will probably miss his entire rookie year. The prospect I've become really excited about is Reggie Ragland from Alabama. I am doing a scouting report on him that I will share here There's a misconception that he can't cover, but he's not asked to much l. Alabama puts him at DE on third downs at times. Here is covers Hunter Henry( The top TE prospect) and does fine This game shows his ability to blitz off the edge

gmenroc
How have Alabama linebackers faired in the NFL? I like the idea of a top prospect from a top college program at a position of need and I know he did well at the college level...I just want to get an idea on how his skills will translate to the next level
Bigblue25
C.J Mosley and Donta Hightower have been really good.
gmenroc
Courtney Upshaw and Demeco Ryans aren't/weren't bad either. But Nico Johnson and Rolando McClain tend to sway it in the other direction.
Allstarjim
Rolando McClain has been a good player, particularly in the last couple of seasons. His problem is he's a shade above Greg Hardy on the character scale.
